A four game sweep will be better for this team in the long run than winning 1-2 games and giving Shero any reason to be conservative.

Yes, but it was pretty much unanimous that the defense was a weak point going in to the playoffs.

While the prices were high, there were some trades to be had.

Anyone miss Hal Gill right now? I would give my right nut to see someone clear out the front of the net...

There were several small depth moves Shero could have made...it was a gamble to have this defense going in...everyone knew that...the team knew it...and Shero must have known it...we gambled and lost.

Well this time around our forwards are getting the job done. And it's not like our D sucks because we ran out of cap room. We just spent way to much on the world's wimpiest lesbian.

For a good example of this, I think back to the one Saturday Bruins game where they absolutely tormented Chara. They physically took them to town that game.

Other than the first period of game 1, they haven't done it.

Thanks for the insight guys. I always find it interesting judging a goalie by stats. Sometimes it is a good reflection of the performance(s) and other times not.

The forwards have been lousy in the defensive zone and neutral zone, IMO. Too many giveaways/not getting the puck deep in the neutral zone, and too many missed assignments/puck watching in the defensive zone.
