We can win without Haggy.

Rangers will be pissed tonight.

Hopefully someone hits the **** out of that soft POS. I liked Alfredsson, but this is a joke. Maybe he actually got a concussion, but don't act like you are seriously injured to get Hagelin suspended.

Probably Bickel who played a whopping 3:40 last game and 6 minutes the game before.

I figured we'd keep him in just in case things went bonkers again.

I highly doubt he did that. I just think he went through typical concussion protocol and the Sens were being safe with him.

I DO think the Sens are exaggerating the injury though. They say it can be a 1 day or 1 year injury then boom he's practicing the very next morning.

I know I'm repeating myself a million times, but what a ****ing joke this situation has become.

I don't think Alfie faked it.

I do think the Sens were purposely vague.

And I think it's ****ing retarded to base suspensions on severity of injury, at the very least without knowing full details.

I am joining the chorus? How can Alfie say he suffered concussion on a saturday and be playing on Monday in today's climate?

If you're going to do that you might as well put either Bickel or Scott at 4th line forward.

So let me get this straight:

Alfie CONFIRMS his concussion... yet the Sens couldn't provide the league with any updates at the time of Hag's hearing and now is a GAMETIME DECISION tonight?

Am I looking too much into this or is this fishy as hell?

Ok. Call me crazy, but is this possible?

Rangers dress five Dmen sitting Bickel.

Dress Kreider.

Dress Scott as in name only D man, but who in reality takes shifts as a forward in a "setting the tone" kind of a way.

???

No you are not. And yes it most certainly is.

I mean....we get this right. Does any one still have any doubts about what is going on here?

Whenever you get two notoriously biased guys like Jonesy and Milbury sticking up for the Rangers, then you should know exactly where your at.

Or you better know. Or you just don't want to admit that the NHL is exactly that F*&^ed up.

In any case this brings a certain clarity to things.

And this is why suspensions shouldnt be set based on the injury suffered...cause now Alf is back and Hags is still out 3 games. Ridiculous. Rangers better come out FLYING tonight...take out half their team while they are at it. This **** has to end now and order needs to be restored.

Who cares at this point; we win this game and the series and basically flip the bird at the NHL. I had this same feeling at the Winter Classic when the refs tried all they could to get that game to OT. Same thing here, just win, unleash Kreider and when Hagelin is back we will have them both in the lineup.

Nothing would be sweeter then winning the next 3 games without Hagelin then having him next around against either Washington, Philly or Jersey.

i watched all the garbage that has gone on, and, i really just think the rangers - or maybe it's just us - are giving ottawa wayyyyyy too much credit. it's a pushover team that the rangers need to beat. boyle really didn't do that much to karlsson but boy has he been on the receiving end. well, that's what ottawa wants to make their focus, cool. but i sense they feel they did what they have to and i don't expect any more. the rangers and boyle just have to wear it. they got told. 'stay away from karlsson'. fair enough, they're all men out there. i do think that making karlsson a target to begin with was dumb. there was no need. the rangers are the number one seed! they need to play the game their way. what a sideshow. i hope they shake it off and move on. no one has been seriously injured and messages have been sent. the rest is ego and pride. not important.
the refs and shanahan and the nhl in general, though, look awful. so ham-fisted. what blockheads. really.
i don't think there's much more to say on that account. letting boyle get beat and then throwingout dubinsky is awful awful work. and the rest of the supplemental discipline has been a joke. but, i do think hagelin's hit was bad. there's just too much of a focus on highlightreel hits. in that case the hockey play is to hit and stick facing the play, not a rocket to the chops. hopefully he learns his lesson and alfredsson's ok.
all that said, i see the slate as clean and the rangers just need to focus on playing great defense and scoring some goals.

Super anxious about tonight. I'm confident we can win of course, but I won't get to watch cause of stupid time difference and stupid having-a-job-to-wake-up-for-in-the-morning. So hopefully I'll wake up tomorrow and find the Rangers 2 - 1 up in the series.

LGR!!!

****, Scott has a nameplate in the dressing room, Kreider doesn't.

Fantastic let's just put the useless guy in the lineup and he'll play 2 minutes and do nothing. At least with Kreider you could play him on the PP or something

Not ****ing happy with this, if that truly does indicate the lineup. The Rangers have enough toughness without Scott and they need to win the game on the scoreboard, not by having the toughest guy riding the bench

Need 6 dmen, I would give Bickel a couple of more shifts, if Emminger could play Bickel would be on the 4th line...
