Question on Quebec Midget hockey

Hope someone can kindly answer a few questions for me as i'm not as familiar with Midget hockey as I would like to be.

Can someone explain what are the major differences between Midget AAA and Midget Espoir leagues? Thinking of attending the Dodge cup games on Wednesday at Martin-Lapointe Arena and was wondering if there are any players that will be in action that can be worth keeping an eye on.

Thank you

The midget Espoir league is comprised solely of 15 year olds. There are a few exceptions were 14 year olds are on teams as regulars. There may be a handful of 14 year olds playing in this league. Basically, it is a league of 15 year olds. 16 and 17 year olds are not permitted in this league.

MD AAA has 15 to 17 year olds on their rosters. Generally speaking, the best 15 year olds play MD AAA and not Espoir.
