Sad to see Allen go. He seemed a good guy with some good attitude.

Also, video coach Ryan Ward is out. A lot of change going on internally right now.

Was Dean Chynoweth fired because he got into a fight in 1992?

Status Quo?

This is interesting. Remember both were still Gordon people. Curious as to whether or not Capuano will want to choose his own staff. Also found it interesting that Doug Weight was pretty much at Capuano's hip throughout the year (at least behind the bench).

And to think they spent a 1st round pick on Chynoweth. Horrible asset management by Snow again!

Wasn't expecting this. I'm pretty glad, we needed some new blood behind the bench.

Video coach Ryan Ward also leaving #Isles, but voluntarily.

Expect Bridgeport head coach Brent Thompson to get serious consideration for one of the assistant spots with #Isles.

Don't get me wrong, from what I've seen, I like him a lot, but I'd rather have Thompson stay in Bridgeport where he can continue to develop our youth. With all of the players set to be there in the next season or two, we need someone who is good with young players and he has seemed to be such a coach.

Scott Allen was a good dude. This pisses me off on so many levels. You let a guy like Allen go, who had the right attitude, was a nice guy and seemed to genuinely care about the team. And then, you let a big, stupid fat lazy doesn't give a crap Capuano stick around?

I mean hell.. I rode bumper cars with Allen and his kids last summer. He was such a nice guy. So pissed right now.

Both seemed to be capable but in fairness to Cappy they should have been gone before the start of last season. I don't think Snow/Wang really respect Cappy he is just a place warmer till "Darth Weighter" can rise and replace him. DW will replace both assistants (cost saving) this season unless Snow still has Bob Beers's phone #.

Damn, I'm gonna miss Scotty's Boston accent in his interviews with Peter. He's a good guy too with a great mind state. Probably the reason why he was fired in the first place

Hope Scotty and Dean find luck in coaching elsewhere.

Haha, yes. Actually, drafting Chynoweth helped get Torrey fired which eventually led to Snow getting hired, good call.

They must have been due raises! At least no more horrible New England accent in between the 2nd and 3rd periods.

To echo other posters sentiments, hopefully this means some more experience coming in.

In In other news, Scott Allen will be on the VS/NBCS crew, sitting two feet from the lens to add commentary to Milbury and the other clowns.

So which hail-from-New England personnel will be brought in to fix this ship? Hopefully someone with more finesse play on their mind.
