Has anyone mentioned the 2010 Olympic situation, where Team Canada played badly in the preliminary round and had to win four straight to win gold. They put Luongo in net. And... we all know what happened.
I know the odds are terrible, but I still believe the Canucks can win this series.

luongo has become way too inconsistent...and if you start him tomorrow's game and blame him for allowing a weak goal or allowing too many goals, obviously he'll feel bad and everyone will rage where if we start schneider it wouldn't be a problem both sides, he wouldn't be blamed much if he lets in a weak one since he has no playoff experience like luongo and is our backup.
but if schneider does win tomorrrow, ride the hot goalie for the whole series. as much as i respect luongo, its time to move on as someone mentioned above

We (and the Canucks players) did not wait 10 months to get eliminated in 4 games. 1 week of playoff hockey shouldn't be enough.
I KNOW the Canucks will come out with everything they've got in the next 1,2,3 or 4 games. But the thing about hockey... even on your best day.. if the bounces don't go your way you can find yourself on the wrong side of the score sheet.
I don't really care who starts in goal tomorrow. Both Luongo and Schneider have been strong in this series, and both have won us big games in the past. It won't matter one damn bit who's in goal if the team can't show up and bring their A game with their season on the line.
this. if nucks lose in the first round. point the finger at coach a.v and the rest of the team. maybe mike gillis too. not enough scoring even with daniel out. i hope daniel plays tmr. pulls a david bolland and notches a 3 point night. to stave off being swept. the guys should really learn to raise the damn puck over quick's shoulder's by now. they should know that he's really really good downlow. crash the net make his life miserible. eventully quick will crack
