Krueger done in EDM

http://oilersnation.com/2012/4/17/is...ith-the-oilers

Even Ralph Krueger does not expect a top job in the NHL. I have not done any interviews and will now plan my future in peace. But this much I can say. The goal is to take over Western Europe to a team as head coach. He leaves open whether a club team or a national team.

Wow that sucks. I thought Ralph did a hell of a job. I guess when a head coach gets replaced the assistants generally do too. The worst par of this though is if Renney is back next season his staff just took a big hit.

It would open up a position for Nelson though, that is if Renney is back.

Crappy. Another semi decent guy gone while Bucky sticks around forever.

Send a message via ICQ to Wheathead
I kind of had the impression he was going to go return to Europe. Oh well.

Good luck to him, didn't mind his influence here, but if the team doesn't feel he's a guy who can be the HC, probably not alot of reason for him to stay.

That sucks. He provided good coaching depth.

kinda sad to see him go. From the Oil Change documentary, he seemed like a good coach and great person who got along well with the players.

If Krueger played with the 80's Oilers, even 1 game, he'd be head coach by now.

I wonder if he is technically still under contract with the Oil and can't make anything official?

Well this is awkward. Good thing we all had good things to say. Welcome back, Ralph. Haha

Closed because the Oilers shot this down. If anything comes of it, it can be reopened.
