The fact that Dale Hunter coaches the Caps gets more and more apparent with every game. What a bunch of punks.

They're all really good at hits from behind, headlocks when someone's not looking, and leading with their sticks when confronted.

Good win for the B's, hope it wakes them up for good and they pound the **** outta these guys for awhile.

I was a little pissed lucic would take such a boneheaded penalty given the time of game and that we were on the PP tied 3-3. But it all turned out for the good and I got to see him punch someone in the face.

I'm a happy camper, tonight!

Marchand is obviously frustrated but I agree with everyone else... he really needs to stop with the diving.

I don't think he embellished the nut shot. He looked legitimately hurt there. Doesn't take much to take you down in that instance even with a cup.

But I'm getting annoyed with the other stuff.

But I'm sure the rest of HF boards will make a thread on the main board about how all us Bruins fans are hypocrites and that we deny our own players diving even though it seems like all of us are aware of it and not happy about it

This is not a good match up series for Seguin. The kid is still learning and playing a team that smothers opportunities and leaves hardly any open space on the ice is clearly throwing him off his game. I WILL say that he has at least tried to be more physical. Right after Ovechkin scores I saw him looking to take the body and that shouldn't be ignored.
Problem is, he's never really been that kind of player. He could skate by (no pun intended) in the regular season because the physical play isn't necessarily prominent from shift to shift.. in the playoffs however, he's going to have to learn on the fly and learn quick. We can't rely on the bottom 6 to win this series for us... scratch that, we shouldn't rely on them.

Clearly instigated by the caps. Clear cut 3rd man in. If Lucic was "roughing" what the **** were the other two, TWO caps doing?

Someone needs to check the ref's garage for a new porsche and Ovechkin's lipstick around his nether regions.
Glad we won cause these calls/non calls were absolutely abysmal.

Eat that losers.

Too bad we'll have to wait an extra day to go up 3-1 against these wusses...

Marchand needs to do a better job of staying on his skates, aside from the spear and the crosscheck. It's not helping anyone.

Thanks for waking Lucic and the Bruins up douchewhistles. Karl Alzner especially. Someone send that donkey a fruit basket.

Also Washington must be very generous with the definition of hit. Boston credited with 58 hits.

Almost as unbelivable than the OV cross check to the face of Seids last game...

He never did. He was hardly tested in the first two games. Every time he has been tested, red lights amazingly go off.

They need to get pucks on him and people in front of the net. Let the caps collapse and become bengay factories after being pelted w/ Chara and Boychuk shots, bang in rebounds.

Lucic almost beat him while against the left wing boards. Just get it on him, high glove, or below the armpit.

Peverley was great carrying the puck tonite...& 4th line proved why they are the best 4th line in the NHL (the correct 4th line.. )

I dunno, you could argue the Bruins got away with a couple hits from behind too....the problem is that EVERY hit along the boards is a hit from behind now. I know it sounds strange, but NHL Defensemen are DUMB!

Call it protecting the puck, call it drawing a boarding penalty...but these guys will be calling it paralysis if they don't stop turning their backs to freight trains.

He's an average goalie. I never understood why NBC/people here got a hard on for the kid. I mean, kudos to him for keeping composure in the playoffs with hardly any games under his belt but I feel like people were prepared to anoint this kid the next Roy or something.. that goes for NESN and NBC. And I never saw that. I saw the Bruins getting ****** shots through and putting the puck in the crest of the jersey.. ho hum.

Marchand should stick to playing hockey (he is good at it) and cut the BS.

It wouldn't bother me at all if the Bruins traded him in the off-season.

Ain't it amazing

... Alzner should have gotten the extra 2 - at minimum 4 mins roughing for each team.

Yet I wasn't shocked ... ridiculous.
