Whale roster is thin... too thin to possibly make it past the first round. Goaltending also extremly streaky. More than half the team belongs in the ECHL

ST on the other hand are well-coached, and with the Isles not in the POs (lol), they should have a full squad (i.e. no call ups).

Edge: ST

Funny, but i'm pretty sure I saw an article that said 5 ST players started the year in the ECHL and ended the year with SPC with the ST

Mouilleratt(no idea how to spell his name), Howes, Landry, Oleksy and Riley might be those guys.

The head coach Brent Thompson identified them from the ECHL where he coached last year.

Tigers are tied 1-1 right now after two. I really hope they pull through, I love this squad.

Whale win in OT on a PP Goal. Wow it must have been one hell of a slash to get called in OT:

Yeah they were pretty upset about it haha .. it was karma tho, there were a lot of bridgeport hits to the numbers throughout the game that weren't called .. what a great game tho, CT came out strong in the 1st but bridgeport regrouped and it was even play for the rest of the game

Teams at this level are often carbon copies of the coach. I think this is another example of that.

Thompson is a looney tune. Alaska just has an advantage over everyother ECHL team just about.
