Rampage did take the regular season series 4-0, with three regulation wins and one in the shootout. They have a remarkably good chance of making past round #1 this year.

It's not like the Wolves were dominatied on the scoreboard in any of those games. They were all decided by one goal. One was in a shoot out. I still like the Wolves chances.

If Vancouver gets eliminated, we could get Byron Bitz for the playoff run.

Beautiful come from behind victory for the Rampage. Way to battle back boys. Markstrom was huge in the Overtime after a lackluster start. Nice comeback for a team that doesn't score alot of goals and without Michal Repik as well. Matsumoto with two goals as well.

Rampage won the first game 5-4 with an OT PP-goal by Colby Robak after climbing out of a two goal deficit earlier in the game. I truly hate the delay of game penalty, but I liked it just a little bit last night. Jacob Markstrom should have gotten one of the stars of the night, he had a couple of really big time saves in the OT, while SA forwards were shooting more pucks into and above the glass than at the goal.

Tyson Strachan was called up to Florida after the game last night. Panthers aren't sure if Garrison will go or not tomorrow as he missed Game 4 yesterday with a lower body injury. His replacement Keaton Ellerby also got hurt in Game 4 when the Devils bench door came open. San Antonio also has Sean Sullivan out on defense and will insert Seabrook if need be. Michal Repik also is injured for the Rampage. Thanks to DoubleNickel for the info on the Panthers board. We shall see what happens tomorrow. SA can get a stranglehold with a win. And I think obviously only needing one win in Chicago instead of two out of three would be the prefered route.

Rampage hang on for a big win. Sounds from listening to the game on the radio that Climie was awful for Chicago. Rampage announcers said Markstrom gave up some cheap one's as well also. Power Play game for both sides. Rampage did what they needed to do and got the two games. Only need one in Chicago. Pressure all on the Wolves now and no telling how long Reino might be out.

Not a stream, but they usually have the audio available on the Wolves website. Better than nothing.

Holy cow, the Wolves love to talk and do absolutely nothing about it. Mancari was *****ing the whole game and had several opportunities to back it up buy backed down every time. Duco drew a cross check from Matsumoto, got up and chirped and facewashed Mats, so Mats dropped the gloves and Duco turtled quicker than a Lemieux in JLA. At least Lemieux got punched. Duco saw big bad Matsumoto and curled up like a baby in the fetal position.

Sweep the leg, Johnny.

Finish him.

And several more POP culture martial arts references can go here.

Rampage punished the Wolves by sinking PP goals in off the first three penalties. By the time 3rd period started the score was 4-1 and Chicago had no energy in their step and Rampage started to play keepaway instead of going for more goals.

With about 13 minutes to go, San Antonio took two penalties within a matter of seconds, and Chicago cashed in both the 5-3 and 5-4 chances to make it a one goal game. Rampage sobered up quickly and the last half of that period was great playoff hockey, with San Antonio keeping the score at 4-3 in the end.

This is why Duco has become known as ******-co in Milwaukee. I am surprised to hear that about Mancari. I don't recall him acting that way in the past.

Markstrom recalled to @FlaPanthers with injury to Theodore. DGM will start in net tonight for Game 3 and Foster will back-up.

Does anyone know any SA area sports bars that are showing this game? I'd rather spend the $10 on beer than pay for AHL live.

Rampage couldn't close out the series last night, hard to do that when you've only managed to get 4 shots on the goal in the first 30 minutes. Still, it ended up being a close 3-2 game with Chicago getting one empty netter and Bracken Kearns scoring for SA with 1.5 seconds remaining.

Game #4 is on tonight, Markström hasn't returned so DGM should be starting for Rampage.
