I'm certainly not telling anyone something they didn't already know, but it bears repeating what an impact this game has on the loser's chances:

If we win, Detroit MUST win 3 games in a row to win the series, with 2 played in Nashville.

If we lose, Detroit can win 2 games in any order to win the series, with 2 played in Nashville.

Some teams you might be able to rule out a comeback from a 3-1 defecit. Personally, I wouldn't put Detroit anywhere near that list. Not to be a party pooper, but given how slippery ping-pong balls are and how hard they would be to pick up, I'd say the refs patience with it would be very short, assuming someone seriously thinks it's a good idea.
