realignment question

Blues fan coming in peace.
Would the Jackets be interested in going to the Eastern Conference due to being in the Eastern Time zone? Just curious...

Yes.

Our forum has had lots of discussion on this. These are older threads but sift through and see. Not sure we have much more to add.

I think this is maybe the only issue on the entire board that all the posters here agree on.

Is the sky blue?

Is the grass green?

Does the sun rise in the East?

Is Columbus the capital of Ohio?

I think the answers to those, answers this.

And we'd be interested in hosting the Stanley Cup Finals too!

I am the NHLPA and I am not interested in Columbus going to the East. Or anyone going from the East or West or from the West to the East. Or for more or less than 6 divisions. Or for a team to move from one division to another.

Ohio has not been considered the west in a very long time.

And yet, more importantly, Columbus is in the EASTERN time zone.

Eastern Time Zone (allowing Jacket fans to watch away games that don't start so late) and the opportunity to play teams that are closer to Columbus (particularly Pittsburgh and Buffalo).
