Prospect you predict that will have their breakout year in 2014/15

Throughout the years there is always a prospects that has their "coming out party" in the NHL and pretty much seal the deal for an NHL career. Last season Ondrej Palat and Tyler Johnson had extremely impressive years after a couple seasons in AHL. And they are just a few over the years that break out offensively. What other players do you guys feel will break out offensively next season?

I'll start it off and go with Calle Jarnkrok in Nashville. Ive always been real high on this player and feel that Nashville got a steal in the trade with Detroit for Legwand

Brett Connolly, two strong seasons in the AHL and he's waiver eligible so has to stay up. Probably starts on the 3rd line with Drouin so a chance to create some great chemistry and put up points.

Scheifele isn't really a prospect, but he was ppg for the last half of his season. I think 60-75 pts isn't unreasonable.

Not sure if he's a rookie still, but Ryan Spooner if he gets a job out of camp. Kid is unreal.

The Ducks are poised to have quite a few really

Hampus Lindholm (I know this year was huge for him but following his rate of projection I wouldn't be surprised if after adding some muscle and practicing in the offseason he came back even stronger and forced people to notice his talent)
Devante Smith Pelly...technically his breakout was his rookie year and people know who he is now, but his play tailed off big time after that season and now he's come back better than ever
Rikard Rakell: The kid is just so smart and so strong, it would shock me if he didn't notch at least 35-40 points in Koivu's expected retirement

Maybe

William Karlsson. I don't expect him to have an NHL breakout, rather, an excellent showing at the AHL level and I'd add Nic Kerdiles to him in that regard.

I'm so excited to see what Merrill will bring offensively next year. He's the real deal. He was so strong defensively for us.

Drouin. He's going to put up the best rookie performance since Patrick Kane.

All of Strome, Nelson, and Lee have the potential to breakout next season much like Johnson, Palat, and others did on the Lightning.

Snow needs to get Halak signed, bring in a veteran defenseman, and add a good forward first though.

Morgan Rielly. His offensive timing was just ever so slightly off this past season and he missed a lot of goals. Im confident he'll figure it out this season and rack up points. He was also a little too timid to shoot and differed to a pass too often.

Don't know if he really still counts as a prospect but think Yakupov is going to breakout of his slump and have a big year offensively, will still have his issues without the puck no doubt, probably more likely to excel if he gets a better more veteran #2C to play with. But it wouldn't surprise me to see him score 30 if he can get some decent PP time.

Breaking out in the NHL? probably no one on the sabres except maybe Risto (I think he should stay with the Amerks)

But at other levels, I'm expecting alot out of Armia and Grigorenko next year. Fasching should have another solid year. Pysyk will likely split time with Buffalo and Rochester. Ullmark and Baptiste have to prove that their past seasons (which were both amazing) weren't flukes.

I could see Johnny Gaudreau having a big year, like 20+ goals 50+ points. Maybe he could even have a better year than Drouin. I also think Seth Jones will take a big leap in his development next year.

As for the Flyers, I think Ghost bear will have a great year. He was clearly the best player on the ice in his two AHL games this year, and he would have scored a couple goals if not for a couple amazing saves by Poulin. I think he will start with the main club right from the get-go and he will probably receive very good PP time even if Timonen does not retire.

What do Red Wings fans think, could Pulkkinen make an impact on the NHL level already next season? Teravainen and Drouin both could be fighting for the Calder.

Other than that, I expect Florida's young team to make an impact at a level that makes them fight for a playoff spot.

Drouin. Him and Stamkos together are going to be magical together.
