McCann seems to be a tier ahead.

Vesey is really good. He annihilated college hockey last season. He doesn't have any business going back, which makes it more puzzling that he is. Yeah, it's Harvard, but a $900,000 contract is waiting for him.

Not only does he get to graduate with a degree from the best university in the world, he will also have his choice of NHL teams after this year. A degree from Harvard, and his choice of NHL team. That 900k can wait a year.

I love how underrated Andreas Johnson is. His 22 goals in the SHL last year was good for 5th in the league. Not to mention his godly 25pts in 12gp in the Champions league last year

Let's not forget the real reason you think he's underrated - he's a Leafs prospect

Can you let us all know how many games you've seen of each player on the list to accurately gauge where Andreas should be?

I've put him 9th/last because I don't know much about him, I am not following SHL hockey a lot... but still I hate the Leafs lol, but it didn't played a role in my rankings.

Andreas Johnson is arguably the best prospect on that list.

I haven't seen enough of all of them to rank them. Of the list I've seen Chartier, Larsson, Roy and Vesey the most. Of them I think Vesey has the most upside, while Larsson is the safest.

I'd rank those 4:

Vesey
Chartier/Larsson
Roy

I've been a split BU/Northeastern fan for decades, and I like Roy, but I don't see him translating to the NHL. But I've been wrong before.

I don't think any of the larger have 1st line potential, but I see a lot of really good middle 6 prospects here, and I do think Andreas is a real wildcard given his performance at his age in the SHL.

Let's hear your scouting report relative to all the others listed? Without using their stats - just based on your personal viewings.

Did I belittle the prospects or even say that he was the best of the group? No. I said he's underrated. And the reason I think he's underrated? Because he's underrated.

Do people vote here for the prospect of their favorite team? Sure. But I don't understand why you aren't grilling the BUFF fan for voting Larsson 2nd or the Habs fan for voting Johnsson last. Seems like you are being as biased as the people you are calling out.
