Surfboards look like seals from underwater. Pretty simple, but watch the "experts" breathlessly report this info tonight like they just discovered it.

Tanguay on T&R today alluding to John Lackey being the Red Sox clubhouse snitch. More specifically, the snitch was not anyone from last year's team... other than John Lackey.

If it was Lackey, the irony is extraordinary. Since it comes from a complete zero like Tanguay, it has to be considered dubious, at best.

Agreed,

Baseball is the best sport for radio discussion because its all numbers and they play every day.

Toooootttalllly disagree.

Baseball is the worst sport for sports talk.

Baseball should be evauluated and digested in chunks, not daily.

(Of course, I am coming at this from a quality perspective. Clearly for the shows and hosts baseball offers so much stuff to discuss, too bad 95% of it useless ****.)

Opposed to football where it is 2.5 days of breaking down one game and 2.5 days talking about the next one?

I'd rather the overreaction that comes from taking each baseball game as live or die when in reality it's1/162nd of a season to overanalyzing the same 60 minute game...where there's probably 25 minutes of actual play....for a week straight. And the bye week? Just punch me in the face and light me on fire.

Yes.

A lot happens in a football game. 2.5 days of talking about it seems perfectly reasonable.

2.5 of build-up the same.

Baseball sports talk is all just reactionary.

I was getting annoyed during the SCF when it was a Wednesday between games.

Never mind football.

I'm with you. I love hockey talk and football talk. Got no time for either B Ball talk, and especially no stomach for sports radio hosts trying to rap !!

Made the mistake of turning on the radio on my way to work and caught Ordway making fun of the Japanese women who were crying after their loss to the U.S. soccer team.

God, that guy is such a ****wad.

I hear he openly weeps when they run out of Lobster Risotto at Davio's. What a pantload.

Truly, why would anyone listen to that fat ****?

Blissfully 'eei-free since 98.5 came upon the scene. And I'm *lovin' it.*

I'm out of 98.5's range. I listen to sports talk radio in the car; sometimes they'll have interviews or guests. If it's guys like Ordway bloviating I just turn it off.

Even worse than the Big (Eg)O, 98.5 had the dynamic duo of Gresh and Tanguay on at drive time. I want to gouge out my eyeballs every time I hear Gresh say "...and we've talked about this before." That's the problem, dumbass. You've already talked about everything, and no-one wants to listen to you anymore.

Lobster risotto at Davio's...flipping hilarious!
