love Felger but he has jumped the shark- what has happened to this guy; everything is negative, everything is a conspiracy, he looks for something wrong in everything.
Love the shot Beers took at him yesterday about going after the player, the owners, the fans, and now the media Felger has become a characture of himself which is to bad

Not to defend Felger because it's more than obvious what his schtick is, but the players have sucked. The ownership group has enabled the players to act the way they've been acting. The fans have become more about attending the event rather than the outcome of the game. And the local media has been scooped repeatedly by the national media about what's really happening with this team. Pretty accurate all around, IMO, despite Felger trying to sensationalize it even more than it is.

Felger atleast has an opinion and he will express it. Is he wrong alot? sure, but he's also right alot and will put his name on things. I listened to EEI for years, and never heard a real opinion or anyone who dare be critical of any of the local teams, unles it was hockey of course.
It only took shunning the White House, denouncing same-sex marriage, and bailing on his teammates + employers whilst still under contract, but Tim Thomas has finally lost his Godlike/can-do-no-wrong status he has enjoyed since 2006.
If, after a season is over, deciding that you don't want to play hockey the next year, is "bailing" on teammates, what do you call asking for a trade in the middle of the season because the team you are on isn't contending, and YOU personally want to win a title even if it is somewhere else?
Personally, I think the 2nd situation is much more "bailing" on teammates. Yet there are guys in this team's history who have done that and never lost their "Godlike/can-do-no-wrong status".

Quite agree. Whatever else, MF has never been afraid to take on any & all, witness his "thief" assessment of JJ (who threatened to sue), which cost him the Bruins beat job.
Yes, he can be a bit much, but he brings tremendous energy to that show, as does TM. Again, while it may appear a lark to fans, that job is not easy.

Ray did not bail. He got the hell out of an awful situation, and an awful organization, after too many years of playing the good soldier.
I was absolutely delighted when he finally won it all. How debased the franchise had become that, as a gesture to fans -- not a victory lap --Raymond brought the Cup to Boston. That's how pathetic & demoralizing things were around here.
If this was an indirect poke in the eye to Sinden & Jacobs, so much the better.
I'll leave each individual person to decide for themselves what "bail" means, but if one thinks Thomas "balled" I would think he/she would also have to say that Bourque bailed.
I think he was refering to Adam Oates and Joe Murphy
Really it could be any of those guys. My point is only that people saying Thomas "bailed" probably gave a free pass to other guys who, at least in my view, probably bailed more. I think begging out of the team DURING THE SEASON because you have a professional goal that you think is obtained easier somewhere else is bailing more than after the season, for personal/family reasons saying "I don't feel like playing hockey right now."
In my view quitting on your team during the battle because things are hard and you want to play hockey somewhere else, is worse then deciding you don't want to play hockey at all.(if that is what Thomas is doing).
I realize others will NEVER say anything against Bourque even though Thomas delivered more.
NBC Sports Radio officially joins the sports-talk fray in the Boston market Tuesday when it launches daily programing on the WWZN 1510 signal.
WWZN will carry all of NBC Sports Radio's current content, which includes three daily programs beginning at 7 p.m. and running until 5 a.m. the next morning. They are:
The Erik Kuselias Show: Monday-Friday, 7-10 p.m.
Amani and Eytan: Monday-Friday 10 p.m.-1 a.m., featuring former Giants receiver Amani Toomer.
The Dan Schwartzman Show Tuesday-Saturday, 1 a.m.-5 a.m.
The show that should have some immediate appeal in this market is a weekend program hosted by former Patriots safety Rodney Harrison. It's titled "Safety Blitz,'' which seems appropriate, and runs for two hours.
Harrison's program is recorded and will air at various times depending upon the station, so keep an eye on the local listings.
