Highlights of tonight's game.

Really a dominant performance. Possibly his best game this year. He was dangerous every single shift. It brings him up 27 goals and 34 assists. Currently tied for 1st in goals and is 2nd in the point race.

He has 11 goals and 6 assists in 7 games this month, including two 5 point nights.

Great to see Alex manhandling the league. He is skating so much better now and shooting far more accurately. His puck protection and puck possession skills are unreal and is able to back off defenders with ease. Passing is pin point and creative as well. Goes to the net, size, etc. Nice.

Alex looks huge out there. He's got a really good athletic build, with big, wide shoulders. Kinda looks like Marian Hossa a little bit.

What is his height / weight? I see him listed anywhere from 6' to 6'2" and 190 to 205 lbs on various sites. Wtf?

He could definitely become the best player from the draft! I'll be watching a lot of US games at the WJC for sure!

So he will probably end up 6 foot 1 210-215 pounds when fully developed.

Still standing by my opinion that Gally will be the best player drafted out of the 2012 draft. He is a man amongst boys out there and holy is it ever showing. He really is the best player in the OHL and that isn't a homer opinion. Montreal sure got one hell of a player.

Yeah I agree too, it would of been interesting to see if Yakupov was still on the team how much more dominant Galchenyuk would of been.

Sarnia would probably be the best team in the CHL.

Key point of course is that Galchenyuk is a man amongst boys, whereas Yakupov is currently playing in the best league in the world (for now) and has 18 points in 22 games. Fair to have your own opinion of course, but they are both quite good.

I don't understand this key point you're trying to portray?

I think if Yak stayed for another year, he'd have a better PPG rate since he's always been the better player.

That would be three imports wouldn't it?

Edit: And that would be wrong, thx Leafan519!

Only Yakky and Goldobin are imports out of that group. Nikandrov is Canadian despite his very Russian sounding name.
