***News Release***Coyotes agree to wear pillows during game
To ensure no further suspensions or injuries to Chicago players the team has agreed to wear pillows over their equipment. As a spokesman for team said, " we really don't want to leave it in Shanny's hands because he is very unpredictable. By wearing soft padding we wanted to ensure the Blackhawks have little to no impact by a possible collision of players. We have also instructed the team not to hit because we again can't afford to leave it up to shanny. Since collisions and hitting our part of the game this is going to be a challenge.
I just started playing hockey 5 weeks ago. At my first game ever, people were running into each other like crazy. Every time it happened, you'd stop, feel guilty, ask the other guy if they were OK, apologize, etc.
Maybe that's what we need to do tonight?
Everyone in my league has gotten over the Kumbaya style play. Last week people were knocking each other down left and right with nary a "sorry" to be heard.
