These games have been so close, and with both teams missing more guys from the top of the lineup, I don't think either team will pull away. Even if the Coyotes play at the top of their game, it's going to come down to who gets the bounces. That said, it's about time a few start going the Coyotes' way.

Lets like score first? But that would probably give me too much hope and a late loss would be killa. That said, first team to 3 wins the series (not technically, just in my head).

Well, no more using *that* joke during this series - from CNN today:

"A Black Hawk helicopter crashed in southern Afghanistan, likely killing its four crew members, all of them Americans, a U.S. military official says.
The crash occurred in bad weather, though the official says "we cannot yet rule out enemy action." "

Pouliot-Chip-Biz

Honestly, this isn't all that different than our game 3 lineup. Keep it tight and pull it out!

I wonder if Tip would consider dressing 7 dmen given the circumstances?

I'd advise against it. The forwards who can play big minutes are already being stretched, and I don't know if I want like, Gilbert Brule double-shifting. And I'm not sure I want 12-14 minutes of a maybe-still-hurt David Schlemko or definitely-still-green Mike Stone.

Amusingly, when the team was down to 11 forwards in game 1 after losing Vrbata they double-shifted around Brule, who notched only 6 minutes of TOI despite being short.

Even though he's probably everyone's least favorite defenseman, Roszival continues to lead in ice time. It's about a minute difference from OEL, but I guess it shows how valuable he's been. He's a big body, and while not aggressive he can be physical and get in peoples way. He still does dumb stuff in his own end with the puck, I notice.

My final guess is...

Whitney-Vermette-Vrbata
Doan-Gordon-Boedker
Pyatt-Langkow-Brule
Biz-Chipchura-Pouliot

...line four gets five to seven shifts. The top nine are gassed. We better win this one because they only get harder from here.

Chicago will certainly come out flying. We need to weather the storm for the first 10 minutes and we'll be fine. Wouldn't be surprised to see the Yotes get a nonsense penalty (or 2) called against them in the first couple minutes.

If we get past the 10 minute mark tied........I think we win. Crawford is feeling the pressure of giving up a bad OT goal, the longer it stays close the more pressure he will feel.

Also, I like the idea of Bolduc playing tonight with Chippy and Biz.....he has size and toughness that could be beneficial. First time the 4th lines play against each other we'll likely see a fight which is good, get that out of the way, then focus on hockey.

Go Yotes!!

Having a hellacious day. Those who have had to go through the prep of a colonoscopy can relate.

Coyotes need to come through for me tonight. This is a gut check game.

Speak your opinion = $10,000

Bash your opponents head on the glass multiple times = $2,500

Only in the NHL.

That is a good point. I guess in business world, words hurt more than actions.

Mr. Smith is going to have to steal this one. Who is loosing more value Hossa and Shaw or Hanzal, Korpi and Torres?

That's what she said.

TBH, I think with our defencemen and Tippet's system, we're going to be just fine tonight. Just a gut check for the offense tonight.
