Routine plays are what work at this time of year.

But yes, the shot was great.

Lucky shot if you ask me. Couldn't be happier though.

It would be awesome and give us a boost to send the Rangers on vacation!

How close it is from becoming a reality?

Goals against Boston and Toronto were good shots too, just not as epic

I understood how people could be upset about losing Rundblad who was a great prospect but a 2nd rounder gets you Hal Gill or Dominic Moore at the deadline... ... ...

Rundblad is still not a sure thing, could be nothing more than a a Swedish MA Bergeron, maybe we got lucky and the Sens sold high, bought low on that trade

Playing deep in his net works because of the team defense the Rangers use. They cover the slot so well and block so many shots that you need a perfect shot to beat the best goalie in the world.

How much is Burke kicking himself right now for not throwing in the 2nd round draft choice to get the deal done and making Murray look like a genius.

TOR - Kadri + 2nd rounder - Burke wouldn't do it because he wants to build a winner or something along those lines.

I don't think so. If you ever watch these guys in practice they are always picking the corner, cross-bar and in. It's actually an easier shot from the left of the net with a left-handed shooter. I think 'Clutch' Turris was just dripping with talent on that shot.

Luck had nothing to do with it.

Scoring on Lundqvist appears to be lucky.

He's an incredible goalie.

Some Ranger fans are actually doubting him because of his OT record or whatever.

He's a huge part of where they are and how they finished. Doubting him at this point is pretty silly IMO.

I'd swap goalies with them in a heartbeat. Nothing on Anderson, just um. yeah.

I didn't like the trade when it was made. So very, very glad to be wrong. It feels weird to realize the Sens actually have a legit second line center.

I'm so proud of the team. There is no quit in them.

Even though he had 29 pts in 55 games he just didn't seem to be a presence that much. Even now the only times I saw Turris was when he was stoned by Henrik. Now I see he has 3 pts in 4 games - not really bad given how tight the series has been.

Depends what you look for. He doesn't play a flashy game, but all season he played a 200 foot game, winning the puck in the defensive zone corner, starting the break out, and joining the rush. That's a presence.

Agreed 100%. Turris has been real good since he's been here. Very responsible in all 3 zones.

I'm curious to see how he'll turn out following the full summer development camp and pre-seasoning. Maybe he'll have a Karlsson type breakout year.

Yeah...next year could be huge for him. Remember he missed training camp and 20 games of the season.

Also as a Sen he is 53 GP, 32 PTS. Pretty good IMO.

I don't know... Anderson is amazing... the best playoff goalie we ever had... second guessing that seems crazy!

I read the Rangers GDT and post game and they lay the blame on Lundqvist... seriously! LOL... he is amazing... he has be the Rangers best player all 4 games!!!!! LOL

I think he played relatively well so far with the Sens, good in both ends of the ice, generates a good amount of scoring opportunities and despite being on the thinner side of things is pretty hard on the forecheck. The only knack I have on him is his inability to finish.

Turris has been great since Murray acquired him from Phoenix, he plays a very good two way game, a very good puck management game, he plays 200' in all three zones & he has been putting up pts since we acquired him. He rarely gives the puck away or tries to make some impossible pass through 3 guys & plays a safe, smart game. I don't know what more people could want from this guy but he is exactly what this team has needed as a 2nd line centre & at 22 yrs old can & will only get better. Another great game last night & when this team needed a hero he came through.

Kadri won't be traded mostly due Burke's pride.

Perfect 2nd line center for this team and the system they employ. Spezza shut down? Turris and co got this.

Can't they both be good?

Rundblad has a ton of talent, and has the chance to be a very good player in the NHL.

Can't wait to see his play once he's been through our strength & conditioning program this summer to beef up some. Plus confidence does wonders.

I'd love to see what a player like Turris would do with a Power Forward type player on his line like Michalek..

I'd love to see

Greening - Spezza - Alfredsson
Foligno - Turris - Michalek.
