Foligno - Turris - Michalek.
I think that line is going to be a staple on our team for a long time

Turris rough quote after getting stoned in game 3-" I had the chance to score but couldn't convert, I need to put that in, I missed (couldn't raise over lundquist pad), I will make sure that doesn't happen next time"

game 4- boom!

Thanks Turris. Now, if you could convert on your chances more often, that would make you a God in this town.

Looks like Turris likes to have cheesecake before going to bed.

On one hand, maybe this could develop into something akin to Wade Boggs and his chicken. Or Turris could become Kyle Wellwood.

I still watch every Sens game... just not enough hours in a day to invest myself in discussion.
I'm pretty set in my hockey opinion and I don't really want to argue about stuff... just enjoying the game and the Sens.

My life is so much fun... off till Tuesday now. Weekend is going to be so killer

So sick...

It also feels good defending Turris against...Trent was it? before and after the trade.

Another nice thing about Turris is that he only costs $1.4 million per year for this year and next, not bad for a good second line centre if you ask me!

I'm not trying to pick on Turris with my remarks - but it was a little disconcerting when Pierre McGuire said Turris won't be a first line centre. He said he'd be a damn good 2nd line centre but he'd never be a 1. I was hoping Turris would rip it up and prove him wrong but if he's definitely not going above 2 then so be it.

Anyone recall what the issue he had with Phoenix at the start of the year was about?

Edit: from wikipedia
Quote:
After becoming a restricted free agent on July 1, 2011, failed contract negotiations with the Coyotes resulted in Turris holding out for the start of the 2011–12 season. With Turris absent from Phoenix's training camp, ESPN reported in September 2011 that Turris had requested a US$3–4 million salary. His demands caused speculation in the media that he wanted to be traded from the team.[8] By late-October, a month into the season, Turris' agent, Kurt Overhardt, confirmed that the player had requested a trade, asserting that contract negotiations had "never been about money".[9] Turris agreed to a two-year, $2.8 million contract with the Coyotes on November 22, 2011.
At least he is signed for another season. Don't think he is a 3-4 million dollar player yet, but has the potential to be worth more. Wonder what the hold out was about if according to his agent "it was never about the money" was indeed fact.

Does he always smile when answering questions to the media? Or has he been doing it only since he came to Ott?
