This will be a real test for Holtby`s mental toughness.

Washington is incredibly bad at taking away shots from the point.

If refs did their job and would of penalized that dirtbag Thornton like they have been doing to other teams Caps would of had a PP and probably still be 2-0. Instead Bruins are allowed to get away with after the whistle stuff after the NHL said they were going to cut down on it.

He's been doing it for years now. Ever since Boston has gotten ''tougher''.

Since he came back, he's also been gooning it up.

Actually, every soft player that becomes a Bruins starts acting tough. Even Chris freaking Kelly acts tough.

I don't really respect those guys. Screw them.

Once again, Bergeron being pseudo-tough...giving Mike Green a little shove. And then Marchand getting all "offended". Such girls.

Seems to me, the captain is fairly irrelevant to the team for past while. He needs to step it up if caps want to win.

Personally I don't give a **** about any of the Bruins anymore. They do all sorts of after whistle ****. And if your going to try to play tough, expect to GTFKO in a game regardless if you had a concussion or not.

This. He gets away with a lot because his team gets away with pretty much everything. It trickles down.

I don't like him. Just another Bruin. Thinks he is tougher than nails and then when he gets the **** kicked out of him, they will whine like it is the end of everything. Bergeron has it coming and it won't be long before he gets his **** knocked out once again.

Holtby opened the door wide open by going down way too early on the 1st goal, before that Boston was out of it and frustrated.

I love these commentators.
Thornton has a little shift where he does absolutely nothing. He actually starts a scrum after the whistle, obviously, where he tries to lure Eskirne into a fight with a couple crosschecks, he even drops one gloves. To no surprise, he doesn't get a penalty.

Next shift, Seguin goes hard to the net, a small and acceptable interference is caused on a defending player that falls, giving Seidenberg all the space to wind up. Great shot, beats Holtby.
Next shift, poor coverage from Erskine in front of the net, Marchand beats him to a rebound.
2-2.

Commentators: ''Give credit to Thornton!''....

No wonder plenty of fans think goons have such a factor on the game. When commentators spread that crap, makes sense that the fans repeat it.

I'd bet anything those goals would go in had he not done anything. Thornton did not make Erskine come back on defense slowly and act sloppy. Only an idiot would believe that.
