ov is still skating under that curse. that said, the curse says nothing about the caps not being able to spank the bruins out of the playoffs and right now that would be satisfactory.

I do not get it. So Bruins' fans are allowed to be happy that Nick is not playing tonight, but Caps' fans are not allowed to be happy that DH and TL are working the system to get some calls in their favor?

Personally I have a bad feeling about this game. Holtby showed vulnerability and losing your top center is never good. Hope I'm wrong.

For the first time in this series, I have no expectations. It is keeping me centered.

You are wrong. I already told you. Because I am probably a psychic, this enables me to sense the future, and I feel very strongly that the future contains a Capitals win tonight. Seriously.

I was just about to say this is the first GDT I've seen in a while when everyone's pumped and knows we're going to win. Guess not.

Thanks

For the playoffs you should look for an edge against the opponent where ever you might find one. Sorry but I've yet to find that edge in Aucoin's game. Though the article is a month old, that stat at the end of the article regarding Halpern's face off prowess is what I call an edge. His league and playoff experience versus Aucoin's is what I call an edge.

I'm optimistic that the Capitals will have another game at the Verizon Center after tonight, but just the same Halpern and Knuble should both be in the line up tonight if there's the remote possibility that this will be the last time they ever play before the home crowd.

Caps are going to play there best game yet in the playoffs and take this one. Going to rise up because of the BS suspension to Backstrom.

On top of everything else, Halpern and Knuble should both be healthy...this time of year that's not nothing.

You know for all the supposed bandwagon fans the caps have I sure have seen that same argument could be applied to Boston. Sheesh.

I bet I get an infraction on the Cup Board GDT for "trolling" or "flaming" our own fanbase.

With Marchands diving and me being drunk at the time I got the boot from there for the year I believe. God damn Marchand and his patheticness

Why, did someone think Marchand wasn't diving? I felt a little embarrassed for him. I can't believe he didn't get an unsportsmanlike for at least one of them. I was pretty sure I saw two really obvious dives.

I hope the officials in tonight's game have been properly briefed. I would not be surprised to see him called for even like a semi-dive, albeit probably along with a Capitals penalty.
