Why, did someone think Marchand wasn't diving? I felt a little embarrassed for him. I can't believe he didn't get an unsportsmanlike for at least one of them. I was pretty sure I saw two really obvious dives.
I hope the officials in tonight's game have been properly briefed. I would not be surprised to see him called for even like a semi-dive, albeit probably along with a Capitals penalty.
Yes multiple Bruins fans did somehow. Posting on the Main forum whiskey drunk is not a good call.
The Caps should have made more of a fuss about it to the media, every little thing the Bruins run to the media about Caps might as well get that going more
How Holtby responds will be easily the most important factor in tonight's game. I overreacted after game 3, but I still think it's more likely that he doesn't respond well. Hopefully the defense can get its game back to what it was in Boston.
caps gotta come out flying with something to prove..none of the after the whistle ****..its going to get us nowhere but down 3-1 in the series..if erskine wants to pound lucic im complety fine with that! JUST *** WIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Marchand's dive(s) were a joke. He had at least one, probably two that were awful.
The league overreacted by suspending Backstrom. It really wasn't that bad. But hell, when has the NHL ever been consistent?
If the game's called tight tonight, as I think it will be, it favors you guys. That is, if it's not 4 on 4. I know the Caps scored a 4 on 4 goal last game, but I think Boston has a huge advantage against the Caps 4 on 4. If you guys get more than 5 PP's, you should win the game. Even if we get 5, our PP is absolutely atrocious.
I've been impressed with Holtby and really only blame Peverley's goal squarely on him. The others he certainly shares some blame for, but the defense needs to do a better job clearing the puck off of rebounds.
