tim horton , but both are pretty bad all around , I don't drink coffee and I dont eat donuts (both disgusting product), and their sandwiches are tasteless and horrible.

There's a couple of things I like at Tim horton though , like the bagels and the iced cappucino.

I do like the fact Tim horton is open 24/7 , as I'm often hungry or thirsty in the middle of the night and I like to be able to go get something in the drive through , which leaves few options , including the disgusting mcdonalds and burger king.

+1, their chilli and chicken soup is amazing. Get a BLT at least once a week as well

Live in an area with both (Buffalo) it's Dunkin' by a mile. Coffee is better, breakfast sandwiches are better, not to mention served all day not until they run out of fake eggs (not saying DD has real eggs, they both have fake eggs).

I only go to Tim Horton's because it's on campus and I don't have a car. If I had a car, or there was a DD on campus, I'd never go to Tim Horton's.

EDIT - However I could be biased because on Long Island there are no Tim Horton's and only DD's, so I grew up with DD and not TH. Though if I want coffee at home I go to a deli, diner, or bagel place...not DD.

Dunkin Donuts for coffee, Tim Hortons for food.

Tim Hortons has some of the worst coffee I've ever tasted.

I love Tim Horton's coffee, but I am far from a coffee connoisseur. And their new breakfast sandwiches are delightful.

We don't have DD here in Vancouver (not that I know of), so its Timmy's Ho's for me. Love their wraps and sandwiches.

They used to have a DD's back home, closed down a few years ago, still has the Tim Horton's around, never go.

Should try and map them all out, I think there at least two of them right around the Berri-Uqam metro station and the little mall foodcourt by it. Those are the only ones I know of.

I live in a town that is far from big, well I'm exaggerating a little, it is not a downtown core or anything but a large residential suburban community, and there is 5 Tim Horton's in walking distance from my house (to be fair, 2 are in a gas station and 1 in a Wal Mart but still). I swear they go up even when they're not needed.

I don't give a rat's ass about coffee since I don't drink it (except when I need a major caffeine boost when I'm studying), so taking that out of the equation it's Timmy's by a mile for me. All their donuts and snacks taste pretty good and they have some tasty bagels and sandwiches. DD has caused me to hurl before

I don't think I've ever seen one recently. I think they may have had some in Thunder Bay way back when, but it's all Timmie's now. I remember Robin's Donuts up in that area as well

Never had Dunkin Donuts, so I'm out. Though Krispy Kreme are the best I've had.

This is why Tim Hortons isn't as popular in the states and Dunkin Donuts isn't as popular in Canada.
I know at least a dozen people who regularly go to DD and not a single one buys donuts

Somewhat OT, but I just won a can of Tim Horton's coffee at a local charity hockey game here in Oklahoma. It was the OU team vs the Canadian Component of the AWACS Wing. Here's the sad part. To win it, I had to answer a trivia question. The question was : "What is the capital of Canada?" I answered correctly and won the coffee, but was then embaressed by the fact that they had made their way through the rest of the audience to where my son and I were sitting, and none of the other people got it right. WTF?

Of course you can, and while it's not great, it's way better than the sludge served up at DD and Tim Horton's. Not every drink at Starbucks is an overdone latte that costs $4-5.

Boston voters don't count because, for some reason, DD is on par with air in terms of life necessities over there.

I don't think we have a DD near me at all anymore but when they were here, I remember them being pretty awful. Tim's for me.

Haven't really been to Dunkin Donuts that much.

But I would love a double double and an apple fritter from Timmies right now.

And this.

I love all the blind hate Starbucks gets from people that don't even know what they sell.

As far as I know there's no Dunkin donuts around my area, which is too bad because donuts are like crack to me....I could eat half a dozen in one sitting.
