I have yet to go to one. Every year I plan to, but then something comes up. This year being a parent/child hockey camp in Lake Placid.

I ended up with a size 60G Islanders White. It was pretty cool to see, but I wasn't able to hang around for the transition to the Meigray store. It was a decent event, can't argue with a jersey for 25 bills, regardless of what it ends up being, and some of the displays are pretty cool. I snagged some photos of the Flyers jerseys they had on display, hopefully for some customization if I can ever find some older Flyers jerseys to have done up.

Need help finding a jersey store

I don't know where else to post this so i'll post it here.

I'm currently staying in Ocean City, NJ for vacation and i'm wondering if there is any stores around that area that sells MLB jersey, and also a store that is known for selling NHL merchandise? It be very much appreciated, and I wouldn't mind travelling an hour or so. Thanks!

I can't speak for your options there, but if you're willing to take the 1.5 hour hike to Philly, Pro League Authentics will probably have whatever you're looking for. If you're just looking for a replica just look for a Modell's or something, PLA is for authentics, which are impossible to find at retail around here.

This is a bit out of place but a TV show somewhat similar to Pawn Stars based in the Baltimore area focuses on sports. A Flyers' fan recently requested a piece of memorabilia but the store had few options when it came to hockey. They tracked down a private collector who sold a Pelle Lindbergh game-used stick for $1000 (IIRC) and the owners resold it at $1800 (again, IIRC).

Will you also feature the shop actually selling inventory?
We favor the buying of items but do show some of the selling. Customers come in with requests for specific things and the guys try to hunt it down and then attempt to make the sale. A man came in with his 5-year-old niece who was the biggest Flyers fan I've ever seen and she absolutely schooled our guys at the shop on Flyers knowledge. The guys found an actual game-used Pelle Lindberg goalie stick for them out of a private collection.
The child wore a Pronger T-shirt.

Yeah, as distracting as the design is, the numbers actually have a really cool white drop shadow. I definitely think it's worth it, I have definitely spent money on dumber things...

Don't know if anyone is interested, but the old Reebok jerseys for the NFL are on sale for like 60 bucks at the NFL website.

Probably won't be the correct font but it's a pretty good deal and money goes to charity.

EDIT: "Screen Printed Twill" Ruh roh.

Yea, they lowered the price around Christmas, if I remember right. I considered buying one before I went to the Carnival - but figured why bother at that point.

Talbot has now changed his number to 25 so Gervais can take 27 now that Carle is gone. What the fellow above is saying is should he change his Winter Classic Talbot to his new 25. The answer is simply NO! Its a foul wear the jersey as is with 27.

I've got a little bit of cash left over after the bills have gone so i'm looking to buy in a jersey. Not bothered about whether it's fake or not so long as it looks OK (i'm in the UK, nobody will know) so what are the best sites? PM me them if you have to. I notice Toonjerseys is down, irritating!
