My random bullet points as I procrastinate doing work

- Oduya was just totally worthless tonight. Some solid juxtaposition (oh yeah big word) between a guy who helped us get to the playoffs and then does nothing and Frolik who did nothing all year and shows up in the playoffs.

- I feel bad for Crawford, because unless this team wins the next three he's probably played himself out of Chicago. And I think he's a legitimate starting goalie in the league and will find success elsewhere. Just two brutal goals though

- The goaltending will get blamed, but when the big three are as invisible as they were tonight its a miracle to get it to OT

- Mike Kitchen needs to be shot out of a catapult or something thereabouts. Q gets a lot of flak here but a lot of his hunches actually work. I don't even know what the PP is at this point. The TSN guy goes "and this might be the first time you see a PP just play defense" on that late Phoenix PP and everyone in the room says at the same time "guess you haven't seen Chicago enough"

I wonder where all the Corey Crawford fans are tonight. Corey Crawford is so weak, that the standards of goaltending are lowered just to defend him. When he only gives up 3 in a night we say, "he was solid". When he only gives up 2 goals in the game we say, "he stood on his head tonight". When he lets up only one goal we treat it as if it's a Patrick Roy calibre shutout. Let at how we have lowered the bar to support his mediocrity.

Major heartbreak. If the team is going to be this inconsistent I'll gladly move to Tampa where I can go watch the Lightning.

Such a disgrace.

Mike Smith hasn't owned anything but himself. He has let in brutal goals all series. Bickell's, Bollig's, Morrison's, ect. He chokes in 3rd period and Crawford chokes in OT.

Pathetic that a team of the Coyote's caliber is making the next round. Hawks and Coyotes are definitely the 2 worst playoff teams in the West.

Crawford is a choke artist and Q is an absolute idiot for puting O'Donnel in the ****ing game 2 minutes into overtime. What a fuggin retard. No excuse. He should be cemented into the bench like his skates are cemented in the ice.

No he hasn't everyone is talking about how great Crawford has been, .900 SV% 3 GA every game and two of the softest goals in NHL history, he has been what he was all season, below average and horrible at the worst times.

This is so true. Whoever wins this series is going to get absolutely demolished next round.

At least Phoenix might have Smith go all bananas, we have nothing.

Please do not have the following players on the roster next year. Trade some, give some away, put some in the minors.

In no particularlar order: Crawford, Oduya, Sharp, SOD, Kruger, Bollig, Lepisto, Montador and Brunette.

Good thing we didn't sign Jagr and Talbot or get Vermette at the deadline, yup didn't need those guys.

This, as much as the ****** Yotes fans think their team is going to win it all, they're sadly mistaken. They're going to get bent over next series.

Yeah, going to have to shuffle the chairs on the titanic again. Lets get some more elderly players with their NHL careers pretty much over and hope the stars align.

The Canucks have Blackhawks on their brain, especially Luongo. The Coyotes do not. I'll be shocked if there's a Game 6 in this series let alone a Game 7.

jesus some of you need to chill out. horrible way to lose i know. crawford let in a soft one. **** happens. as usual, the defense did nothing to help him out. crawford did everything he could to stop the first two goals from going in, and the d basically let phoenix score.

the first goal oduya coughs up the puck. ok no big deal. but then he lets doan shoot in a juicy rebound instead of getting back and tying up his stick. extreme laziness on oduya's part.

second phoenix goal. brent seabrook's in front of the net and just lets whoever scored walk in and one time the puck.

ot goal. obviously crawford should have had it, but o'donnell pinched and leddy ****ed up in backing him up. leddy was just too slow and too timid.

there are bigger things to worry about than corey crawford. he's kept the hawks in each game for the most part, but has made a few dumbass mistakes.

duncan keith might be one of the most overrated d-men in the leauge. turnovers, laziness, too indecisive. he's way too talented to be playing like this

but if you're gonna ***** about how the hawks have no shot at winning the series, then there's a simple solution, don't watch.

I cannot argue that. Sharp floats so much it is very frustrating. More so that Kane's blueline turnovers. Because Kane is trying. Sharp is just ****ing off.

When your best forwards for the series are Bickell and Frolik, your odds of winning aren't going to be very good.

where's Bickell? Third line should Bickell-Bolland-Frolik, they've been good again.

I remember people wanting to avoid Detroit in the first round. But the Hawks match up really well against them. Phoenix has trolled Chicago the last few seasons and I had a sick feeling this would happen.

It will take some serious determination to force a game 7.
