Go Sens!
One thing he did well in the WJC is snipe from the slot with two defenders draped over him, get a shot off with very little time. Seeing some of our shooters hesitate and miss an opportunity to score, I hope we see some filthy-quick snipes.

Mark Stone reminds me of a better skating Jason Allison.
Offensive games are pretty similar

Okay for ****s sake the thing about the leafs was from before he was drafted a couple years ago, his favourite team was Toronto. He has played against the leafs in several rookie tournaments and now doesn't like them, he's an Ottawa Senator and that is his favourite team.

That's enough politics about Mark Stone and his old nhl team, as if it's unusual for a canadian kid to like the leafs.

Didn't he score that OT or third period rocket goal to beat Toronto in the rookie tournament as well?

Worst was hearing that Michalek and Alfie wouldn't be top 6'ers on any other teams besides Ottawa. And that Hagelin is more important then Alfie is.... Yeah they're serious... I wonder about them sometimes.

I don't particularly like that comparison outside of their skating. MM is a pure goal scorer, while Stone is more of an opportunistic goal scoring play-maker. It wouldn't surprise me for Stone to flash his goal scoring ability in his first year or so to earn his place, but once he gets his rhythm and feel for the pro game i think he is more of a 20/40 type player rather than a 30/30 one like Moulson.

Also Stone is a couple inches bigger and a lot tougher than Moulson, so if he brings the same amount of points, and better all around play I will be enthralled. But take what I say with a grain of salt, because Stone is probably my favorite player, though I have seen him about 4 times live this year

I can think of about 20 teams where Alfredson/Michalek would be top line player and Ny would be one of them.

Because the jump from WHL to NHL is pretty large.

Yeah i saw the same. I figured as much before the series started. Everyone was writing about how they like both teams and hope for a great series....

I just can't wait until those over paid free agent bonzos are out of the playoffs.

Would own if a team with "only one top 6er" knocked them out of the playoffs

Here's hoping for similar results.

edit: no, I don't actually think it will happen but you have to be excited for the kid right now.
