Sharks coming strong to start the game, but so far we are doing a good job shutting them down.

The #1 quality the Blues have that makes them such a tough out is they don't beat themselves. Same as Nashville.

Was Colaiacovo paired with Polak there or was that just an incomplete change? I see Russell out ther now but Cola is on the side closest to the bench and Polak's across the ice from it.

Probably an incomplete change. Polak's been w/ Russell on previous shifts.

Blues are having a hard time getting through the trap of the Sharks. Hopefully they can capitalize on this power play and put them away early.

Seems to happen a lot, I see the forwards mixed up at times either because they can't change or maybe Hitch does it on purpose at times? Don't know.

Next time there's a delayed penalty on the Blues, smash the Shark puck carrier in the face with a high stick. Freebie.

Arnott has looked terrible so far. He has been fumbling pucks left and right. Hopefully he'll find his timing soon enough.

Focused on the game myself...it's been awhile since I could give a Blues game my complete attention.

Not much to comment on yet, really. The Blues are playing a sound game, getting the better of the possession/territorial war, and getting the better chances.

I dunno, he's not getting a lot of ice time. He's chipped the puck out of the zone a couple times (smartly) rather than trying to make some fancier play. He threw the puck right in the slot for a chance on the other end (nobody crashing). He's making good decisions.

It's not something you really appreciate until you've gone awhile without one.

I'm expecting the crap to hit the fan tonight, though...especially if the Blues close it out.
