btw.. Didn't Kopecky get credited with a SH goal there too?
I think I want a Marcel Goc jersey. Do those exist? He's become my favorite player.

I think Bergy has been the most consistent player in this series.

that quite possibly could have been the best third period the panthers played in franchise history. Every single man on the bench giving 100%. That is a team that looked like they care about playing for each other and playing to win.

So proud of these boys.

I am going to have a hard time deciding who I want on a jersey - Weiss, Goc, or Guds.... or Markstrom...

LOVE HAVING TOUGH CHOICES!

It's funny, my boyfriend and I were making jokes about his inability to score tonight. He had so many chances but couldn't find the net!! I wondered wtf he did do anger the hockey gods so much.

ALL of our checking line players are playing well.

Kopecky must've gone to the Wizard of Oz for a brain because he's playing some great hockey.
Madden, Matthias finally, Upshall...

Bergenheim-Goc-Samuelsson still our best line.

Still not thrilled with Versteeg but he did make a couple of big plays which was ultimately the difference in the game, so...must be nice to be skilled.

Just leaving the stadium now... Man what an amazing game to be at!!!! There was soooooo much energy in the stadium, and the guys played phenomenal. Guds was the cream of the crop on defense, the offense moved the puck on all but 1 or 2 power plays, theo was stellar in goal (and the star of the game), and the team overall showed that our season was no fluke.

Oh and I got my playoff shirt and a free jersey. It was a kick ass day

I wanted a jersey that says "Believe" on the back!

But now I'm debating on that or one that says "Parachuting Rats"!

Kovalchuk played over 24 minutes per game in regular season. Lead all forwards in the NHL, over 2 minutes more per game than the 2nd leader in Stamkos. DeBoer very well could have ran his best player into the ground before the playoffs even began. Figure in the Panthers constant harassment of him in this series, and it just gets worse for him.

As the game goes on he starts to look less like Kovy.

It worked well tonight so I think it's a safe bet Kovy will once again be a target for hits in game 6 to keep his flow off.

Yup. When Weaver was stepping up on him as he came out of his zone it started to cause him to hesitate. He was looking up, watching out for the hit. It's exactly what we want to do to their stars.

No.. like I said so many times during the season. Kopecky is the perfect 3rd/4th line player you will love him there. Put him on the top 2 lines and you will hate him. That's how I felt about him during the season. Also Dineen's man crush for him is over thank god!
