Pfft...who does AK think he is trying to dictate his salary? Eric Lindros?

1. Supposedly top-tier players get bumped to the third and fourth lines (and stay there for a long time) on a regular basis? Really? No.

See? Out until 4 in the morning and he still plays a good game and scores a goal. The guy has the constitution of a horse!

And it continues.

it rears it's ugly head again. The Kostitsyns again. Again as I suspected all through the years. What is at the heart of the Kostitsyn's and a few other from that part of the world these days. MONEY is everything, becoming rich as fast as possible, greed and anything self serving to the cause. The Stanley Cup? why not, as long as it does not get in the way of riches and a good time. Team, Team, what team! I am not USA I am Russian. I am not paid to play in the playoffs so who cares. I don't live here, I only work here. If you don't like me I will work somewhere else for my contract, no big deal for me at all. Rules are for the team players not US. " I want stay in Montreal" " I am happy to leave Montreal" well now it's " I want stay on Nashville" Can anybody guess what they will say in 3 months? HAHAHAHAHAH.

Oh please... not this again.

What does that thread tell us? Hum.. the media is stupid. You didn't notice the media has never brought up this incident since? Yeah because they realized they made a big fuss about nothing.

2. I suggest you actually read the link you posted.

He probably wasn't caught apparently they were caught on video and it made it's way to the team from what my friends in Nashville are saying.

no he didn't. He said he would accept less than market value. Which still means a raise, and he was already overpaid as it was.

Apparently he was worth a 2nd rounder, so we will see in a couple of years what that 2nd rounder amounts to. Hopefully, Timmins will still be making the selection.

I somewhat miss Sergei, though is lack of size and speed is a serious problem in the NHL.

As for Andrei...lol. I don't care about off ice incidents, the guy is useless on the ice.

Remember, it's not "Andrei was worth a 2nd rounder", it's "30 or so games of Andrei was worth a 2nd rounder".

And btw, I remember someone harping to no ends how we should trade Plekanec for Radulov this winter, wonder who still believe it would be a good deal...

These guys are bums. The Habs will always be better off without players like them.

If I was a Canadiens fan, neither player, but I'm sure the Canadiens would appreciate having one or some of the notables who were drafted after Andrei in 2003. Since then I've often wondered what the Canadiens were thinking, cause AK never showed the promise of a 10th overall pick.

You ramble, sir, especially by interjecting your made-up quotes. I suppose North Americans would accept less than they think they're worth or that any of them would sacrifice $2M per annum to play on a Cup winner?

I gather you don't see the difference between Russia and Belarus because they speak pretty much the same language. That's like saying that Canadians and Americans are one and the same.

Oh hey, another person who doesn't know what they're talking about.

Andrei was actually expected to go much earlier than 10th in most pre-draft rankings.
