He did and it was clean and still got called for it so take that for what its worth!

It doesn't matter, and I really wish I could make people see this.

The T-E-A-M is not playing correctly. Winning teams don't care about all these details, they don't need to, they are above that.

Rangers are not there yet. Obviously.
So true.

Callahan was definitely off his game tonight. Frustration got to him, but at least he showed some ****ing EMOTION!

every other team? really? all them right? look at Boston man, they made the right moves each year and got better and better and they won a cup! Rangers need to bring in more top 3 talent.

or you thought they were good enough to win a cup this year because of their record?

These idiots are done. No heart, no passion, no sense of urgency. No better than last season. Hope the "core" doesn't get to comfortable, because some of them are going to be moved to address our scoring issues.

Emotion can be a huge detriment, and the game Callahan played tonight is an example of that.

Our captain made the team look bad. He needs to stop taking stupid penalties, and he needs to get better shots on prime scoring chances. I wouldn't say it "hurt" me, but he needs to be better.

Also, everyone knows how much I love Tortorella, but his coaching in this series has been absolutely brutal

Neil is completely trolling the Rangers in this series. One of our supposed tough guys should have challenged him as soon as he started running around.

Boston was able to make it out of the first round several times before winning the cup. They also have a good coach.

You clearly missed the point of my post by taking the word verbatim.

Point is every year the Rangers main point in the year is free agency. It never changes so while that's our important time of year year after year, it's not for some other teams.

I have watched the rangers religously for 13 years now (25 years old) and I know I have no suffered like some of you. BUT THIS WAS THE YEAR.

And if they go out like this, this hockey that we were all afraid was going to happen, which we all need to admit is happening, is happening. I AM SICK AND TIRED OF THIS.

I know the series is not over but if they lose monday......I really don't know what I am going to do.

I am sick to my stomach.
Relax. Take a deep breath. This is a team on the rise that has developed a great goalie with 5-7 more great years, a tremendous defense, and restocked the farm system. They don't have money problems like the Devils either, nor are they on the way down like San Jose and probably the devils it they don't re-sign Parise (and Brodeur is almost 40).

Let's be honest. First off, the season isn't yet over. Second, this is at this point about a 5 or 6 seed in the Eastern Conference that finished first because they went pedal-to-the-metal during the regular season and over-achieved.

Try being over 60, like some others here and get perspective. For years the Rangers were terribly run, trading young talent for over-the-hill stars who did nothing but deplete the prospect base. Even in your lifetime, they missedthe playoffs seven straight years.

Let's continue to build the team, sign free agents if possible if they have real value and manageable cap hits. No one is taking Dubinsky off your hands at 4.2 mil a year and giving you anything decent in return. We are stuck with him, and anyway, he can do a lot as long as you don't expect him to score. Getting a guy like Nash for half your future is like what they used to do, and makes no sense. We are on the right track, just have patience and don't get drunk and jump off a bridge.

Seriously. A lobotomized chimpanzee could analyze a game better than either of those clowns.

Sucks it's gonna take 7 games to win this series.

Hopefully Washington wins so we don't have to play Philly/Pitts in the next round.

Playing Washington would just be this series all over again.

no i got your point. you should know the situation of the team you follow. we don't draft top 5 overall talent. we have to find other ways of acquiring what we need. you know this.. right?

one of the main reasons we're losing this series is because we can't score. that and the failure of this coach and his assitant to make this team better.

So the team that has a 3-2 lead on us and has out performed us throughout the series has no chance against us?

You've been here for a while. You should know just as well as anyone how long I've been saying we need another too 6 scorer. I am well aware of what this team needs.

Where did he state Ottawa has no chance?

Unlike you, some here aren't getting ready to jump off the Manhattan Bridge.

Not going to get into the off-season **** with game 6 still at hand but

The March schedule killed this team. No grit left on the sandpaper. Once the grit is gone your left with nothing but paper. This team is nothing but paper. Good for wiping you ass but not much else.
