Boring hockey. Western Conference is going to bore its way to the Finals. I'm almost glad this series is over. I was bored watching these games. I don't know if I could've handled having to watch another of these snoozefests.
I think the series ends tonight. The Sharks have just shown no answer for the Blues (Other than that fluke first game) and for the sake of all the Stanley Cup Playoffs, it might be a good thing. This has been the most boring series of the playoffs and when the lack of attention shifts from Florida/New Jersey to St. Louis/San Jose, that's saying it's time to end the series and put everyone out of their misery.
Might as well do the SNOG thing one more time this season, even though my predicting skills have sucked all year:
Blues 3, Sharks 1
Blues Goals: McDonald, Backes, and just for good measure, whoever the Blues goalie is tonight with an empty net shot to wrap the series up.
Well, on the final snog of the season I finally got it right (Score and a player). I should hate myself for it (And sorry everyone) but I am slightly amused.
I thought the Sharks played extremely well in the third, probably the best they've played all post season. It was that soft goal by Niemi that completely killed the team and gave the Blues all the momentum.
Like I said in my last post, even though it was another incredibly soft goal by Niemi due to his poor rebound control, most of the blame for both goals is on Braun.
Marleau and Pavelski needs to go. While they are not the only guys who didnt show up, nobody can defend these two losers. $11m combined, big 0 points. I bet management is happy about the money well spent.
