They're done in the next round. It's either LA or PHX and I think either team has what it takes to take them out.

Sharks deserved to lose with the way they played the whole series. My username is very apt for this team unfortunately. The only player who stood up and did his part was Big Joe. Marleau was invisible yet again apart from a few decent backchecks but that's not what he's paid to do.

Where was Ryane Clowe?

Speaking of Logan Couture, I think he could use a minimum additional 5 pounds of muscle mass and a 6-week intensive "hockey battle" camp.

there's plenty of shame in getting beaten by the Blues.

I kind of like that trade. Maybe I shouldn't, but it's a workable deal for both sides.

Hey I thought this series was much closer than the final tally of 4-1. You guys really outplayed us for much of the past two games.

The talk of Joe Thornton disappearing in the playoffs is total bs in my opinion. Many times he was the best player on the ice I thought.

The Sharks with some minor tweaks should be right back to being a top contender in the Western Conference.

And congradulations to the Blues. Dominated the series, could've easily been a sweep.

He should train with Gary Roberts. Worked for Stamkos.

yep, because it's not like he hasn't had a whole bunch of other playoff/crunch time/high pressure situations where he hasn't come through. But those don't matter. One bad, current stretch and he's automatically worthless and expendable.

I really think everyone needs to step away from the keyboard and come back tomorrow when they've gotten their **** together.

If a players EFFORT is even questionable to any degree.. they are not good enough.

There are plenty of guy that play all out in this league and leave it ALL on the ice. Those are the guys I wanna root for.

The Marleaus and Clowes of the world need to go.... and the passive coaching isn't helping with this.

C'mon, Pavs deserves at least 1 more season to redeem himself.

Marleau? Well, I hope he likes the Columbus zoo...

Chemistry never developed, and the system is good against some teams but just god-awful against others.

SJ had the bad-luck of playing against a team it does not work against, but that is how it goes. The blame has to fall on the coaching staff.

Can't believe I stayed up to watch this....

Marleau, Pavelski, Clowe, Couture. What a bunch of losers... Expected a whole lot more from them.

Not even mad. We deserved to lose this series. We're lucky it went 5 games; it easily could've been a sweep. Time to make changes in the offseason. Hope our bum coaches are given the boot.
