I think it was last season, that some NYI fans started calling for the league to force Wang to sell.

Daly addressed the issue ,saying the league had no intention of trying to force Wang to sell.

Wang is not going anywhere until crunchtime,2015.

1st rounder? I think someone a few weeks ago offered Bennett, but that was just one dude, I don't know if he was a nutter or not.

I wouldn't mind structuring a deal around Staal.

Yeah someone offered Kennedy, Bennett, and 2013 1st for Clowe. I don't think he represents many Pens fans though. What would Jordan Staal cost?

I don't quite totally know about CLowe's value, but that seems a bit much. Does San Jose want some grit/depth or are they looking for quality and no quantity?

We need 2nd line quality wings, fast with scoring ability; current players > prospects > picks.
Thanks.

Damn, only thing Boston has realistically for value is Caron for the Sharks.... anyone else either would hold no interest to sharks or make no sense for Boston to trade.

Not sure there is a good fit here, most I would want to give up is Caron + 2nd and I think the Sharks may be able to get a better offer elsewhere.

Clowe is a good offensive player, and he's gritty and a good leader, and will drop them with anyone in the league.

BUT, he had a down year this season, and he also represents exactly the opposite direction that this Sharks team needs to go in. We need to get faster and younger.

We need skill and skating, plain and simple. The Sharks will end up with the 15-17th pick, and for me, the best move would be taking that pick and Clowe to move up in the draft to the top-10, and draft a young forward.

No Sharks are very tempting to any team. Especially their own right now.

I think they definitely consider moving Marleau. If he waives his NMC. Could there be something between Columbus and San Jose? Maybe. Starting points could be Marleau for Nash. But I would think the Sharks would look to move Marleau outside the Western Conference. I like Marleau as a Shark. But after so many years, it just isn't working. He didn't produce this post season. They have to change something. They could get some valuable pieces for him going forward.

Would something around:

Clowe
Pavelski

Roy
Ennis

I'm not interested in Roy. Maybe a pick or a prospect instead and I'd consider.

What reason would Marleau have to waive his NMC for Columbus and why would the Jackets move Nash for Marleau? That doesn't do any good for them when they are looking for multiple young assets.

He's a big body that's for sure, but that's about it this season. I can deal with the low stats but when he stopped defending his teammates I realized he had to go. Unlike players like Jumbo and Pavs who use good iq to get their job done, Clowe's game runs entirely on emotion and passion. He just didnt show any this year.

Now, if you were willing to offer up Dougie Hamilton though... we might be able to work something out .
