Come on, kid. Cheer up. You have a bright future if you want to. Don't be such a downer. The Caps haven't been good all year or last year. They are competitive in the loffs. Enjoy it, win or lose.

Sure McPhee needs to go, but just enjoy the game.

Already corrected my initial wording....but thanks Internet police. Please, continue on protecting the Interwebs from mispelling, typos and poor choices in wording.

I like the way the Caps are playing right now. Backstrom made a huge error in OT but he's our best player and will bounce back in a big way in game 7. You know Ovechkin will show up as well. The Caps are gonna ****ing win this series guys. To me, the Caps are playing as hard as they've ever played. They're gonna ****ing win and it's gonna feel ****ing great to be on the other side of the upset for once. Lets ****ing go Caps! Caps in 7!

Who pissed in your Cheerios this morning?

I didn't attack any wording. I attacked the premise of the post.

His play didn't cost us anything. The Caps regained possession. Thus, the negative effects of his play were erased. Backstrom's dumb pass was a separate incident.

All we need is love, Orlov for game 7 and a little Halp from our friends, that's Halpern.

how far you guys gone with any other coaches before? the level of team d is outstanding. He doesnt give a F and will bench ovie all game to win. Burins are defending champs and this is prob the hardest series they had to go through and this goes back from last year.

I guarantee MP puts away one of those passes that Aucoin couldn't lay any wood on.

He has done just enough to keep you guys in the series. Today was the day to beat the Bruins and he plays a career AHLer with 1 SOG the whole series 4 minutes on the PP. The same guy who missed 2 wide open nets with his turtle reflexes. He plays Dennis freaking Wideman like the guy is Shea Weber. We have better guys out there.

Yep. IMO, we need to scratch four and Sarge and Aucoin must be two of the four. There is no debate. You can argue over Orlov/Erskine and Halpy/Knubes for the last two spots. Far as I'm concerned MP has to play.

So if the Caps get eliminated on Wednesday, how have they progressed, at all?

Wednesday will be the day the Caps finally get over the playoff hump and go on to have an extended run.

Really? I had an awful feeling after the game (from the loss) but I'm confident looking ahead to game 7 as I've been all series long. We are gonna win!

Have to miss my first game of the playoffs on Wed for a new job, kinda glad in a way

In all likely hood the Caps will loose 3-2 with Wideman on the ice for all three goals. Oh and Aucoin will match todays performance and miss 3 more empty nets

I'm used to heartbreak with this franchise, so I'll be even-keeled for the game.

CCF,

It hasn't been like that for me. I know the Caps are seriously thin at C and D and G (except for Holtby, thank goodness).

They are underdogs but with enough bite to paralyze Thomas, Chara, Lucic and Julien. We might win. If we do, it's a bonus. Don't sweat it if not.
