I woke up with a sense of "all is right in the world today" this morning.

I feel like an outsider on the Jets board since I was cheering for the Canucks and I'm also cheering for Phoenix.

I am not sure I would go that far yet sully. I believe LA and St. Louis will be matched up next round and that will be a defensive gem.

I like the Kings allot but St Louis and Nashville both have great defensive teams and Nashville has outstanding goaltending. LA has a soft spot in my heart now for knocking off Van and I will be pulling for them against the blues. I picked Nashville to win the cup in my pool before the playoffs started. I think adding A Kostitsyn, Radulov (beast), and Guastad has made a very good team great. Increased scoring depth with Kostitsyn. Radulov is a game breaker type that adds to their top end talent pool and then you add a guy like Guastad who can take all the tough draws and play the shut down third line centre roll and still chip in. sometimes I think you can tinker too much and mess with chemistry but in this case I think they added what they needed to and got it right. All that being said this is too close to call still. Whoever comes out of the West might be pretty beaten up this year.

Itís all good Hammer.........I get cheering for the Nucks if you were a diehard Moose fan since there is a connection, or even if you are a fan of CANADIAN based teams. I started off cheering for them last year at the start of the playoffs (keep in mind I had seen zero hockey all regular season) until they started being all "Canucky" and then I found myself really getting turned off hard by their antics and actually becoming a hater.

In some ways today, in a very weird way, I feel a bit empty because my #1 passion in these playoffs was to see Vancouver "not get the cup" and now that they have been taken out back and shot I find myself searching for a new passion??

To each their own Hammer and way to step up and own it!!

St. Louis really has a special building to play in.

I took 20% Sharks players in a cash playoff pool so was kind of cheering for San Jose.

3rd period of the elimination game, I was really happy for St. Louis and KUDOS to their fans/arena.. It rivals/beats ours for noise.. I will be watching their series with LA purely for that fact.

I heard an interesting state on the radio today. The Jets v.1/Coyotes franchise are 0-13 when in a position to win a series since 1990.

Lets hope that trend continues!

It would be great for the Sens to win tonight so I don't have to see Tortarella's smirky rat face again this playoffs.

The reffing is absolutely brutal. It seriously makes the NHL look like a minor league sport.

So Neil can spear Lundqvist so hard that it pushes him out of the net, then kick in the puck, which is caught from several angles and after the review the refs call it a good goal? WTF NHL?
