Help me make sense of the playoff schedule

Alright so I will be in town from may 5th thru may 13th. I have 3 days that are already occupied with obligations and the final day is my travel day. On the 5th, I will e drunk of my ass because it's a bachelor party, the 11th is the rehearsal and the 12th is the wedding.

Is there any way to speculate which home dates we might have so I might be able to see if there will be a home PO game during my time back in the Ville? I desperately want to go to a game this year. I haven't seen a Preds game in person in quite sometime.

No clue of when home games will be yet. Game sevens for the first round go through 26 April if necessary. We still don't know our matchup or if we have home ice or not. It's possible that the first four games of the second round will be done by the 5th.

Patience. The schedule will reveal itself in due time.

Ahhhh the dreaded P word...I'm not really good with that. I'm just excited for the possibility of seeing the Preds play. Last time I was in town, early October, the season hadn't started yet

The options are be patient and let the conference sort itself out, or drive yourself crazy worrying about things over which you have no control. We could know the matchups as early as tomorrow, then it comes down to when the round starts, arena availability, tv scheduling, and on and on.

Barring major comebacks in the 3-1 series, we face the Yotes while the Blues and Kings battle it out. Those aren't set in stone yet and until they are, nothing gets set. the only bright side is that the league already has the possible dates for every venue so once they know the matchups and seedings, they can start scheduling the individual games.

If 1 loses, Preds get Phx, if 1 & 2 lose Preds get home ice

Blues won. We're halfway to knowing who plays in the second round for the West.

All depends on the Vancouver/Kings series.

This is just an educated guess, but since we now know we are playing Chicago or Phoenix:

If we play Chicago (with home ice) I am going to guess game 1 would be on Sunday the 29th (I think Bridgestone is booked on Friday and Saturday). Being in Birmingham, I would LOVE this scenario to play out.

If we play Phoenix (no home ice) our first two home games would probably be Wednesday/Friday or Thursday/Saturday the first week of May, depending on when they start the series in Phoenix.
