What was the crowd chanting towards the end of the game?

Gotta think that the Caps would be our best bet. Throw out the Couturier line against OV's line, while we let the other three lines hammer away.

First of all: YYYYYEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!! !!!!!!! I cannot believe it! I was one of those wretched pessimists who was dead-certain the Flyers were on their way to blowing a 3-0 lead. What a convincing win to close out the Penguins.

As well, how special has Couturier been? 9-of-12 in the faceoff circle today. Tremendous win when the momentum had shifted to Pittsburgh, in an afternoon home game with Grossmann out, to boot. It was great to see good Bryzgalov back in the roster, too.

We need a video of Giroux's entire first shift! Anyone see one yet?

Next round won't start until Friday at the earliest. Boston/Washington game 7 is Wednesday.

Congrats Flyers fans, your team pleased many NHL fans today.

Good luck the rest of the way.

Sometimes the internet is great. Sometimes it's stupid. Sometimes you're a genius. Not only did Gus score, but he played 22 great minutes and truly stepped it up as a rookie when the team needed it.

Any reason Kimmo only played 15 minutes? Did Lavy just think it was enough in the bag that he didn't have to play much in the 3rd, or...??

Malkin scored, but he and Crosby were basically non-factors. Only real reason it wasn't a shutout was because Couturier got tackled up the ice.

Crosby was never dangerous in the whole game. I was joking around that I noticed 47 (Despres) more than 87.

Claude Giroux did what superstars do today.

Coby seems like such a good guy. If you watch the handshake line, he said something extra to just about every player he shook hands with. He seems like a real class guy.

Starting at about the 2:10 mark, Lavi has a great quote on Giroux and even calls him "the best player in the world."

He's definitely injured.
But he had only 3 shifts in the 3rd (technically 4, but one lasted 6 seconds) so I think Lavy also took the opprtunity to rest him a little.

That being said, his last shift lasted 9 seconds shy of 2 minutes.
