No I definitely picked up that vibe too. While they were upset, I'm sure they realize that you're not going to win every year.

I was actually hoping the Devils would lose but was rooting for Panthers and every goal of theirs, if that makes sense. The Flyers I had no problem with rooting for. I hate the Penguins THAT much. Also without Pronger the Flyers are a likeable team too bad the play in that cesspool.

Yes....You never know...Rangers have been gifted. The only two teams who posed a legit threat to their chance at coming out of the EC are gone.

I think the panthers beat the flyers. The flyers have HORRIBLE goaltending

Aside from the Senators, who have surely posed a pretty large threat so far.

The reason that's probably never happened before in a playoff series is because usually someone'll get an ENG at some point

If we win tomorrow, we're so ****ed facing Washington. Holtby looks like 10x better than Anderson. We're already having goal scoring problems, and he kicked our ass in the last game of the season.

It seems that many of us on HF had a Coalition of Atlantic Division friends against the Penguins.

Kinda sad that its over.

He looked a little shaky tonight. He was having a tough time making saves. I am worried because rookie goalies always stand on their heads against us, but let's see.

And let's win tomorrow first. Then we'll cross that bridge.

Tim Thomas had a smirk on his face, didnt seem that upset at all, almost like "oh well, this ride couldnt last forever, we still won it last year, im gonna go on a nice long vacation now"

Not like Boston looks like some juggernaut offensively. Neither do we but it's not like Holtby has to god-like.

True. Getting ahead of myself for sure, but I really didn't think the Bruins were going to lose tonight and this throws a wrench in how I've been coping with my playoff stress for the moment.

ive never seen a playoffs like this with so many overtimes ending quickly. usually we get a few double or even triple ot games. not this year.

Maybe Boston's when it's playing it did this series, but when both are clicking Boston's is better. There's a reason they were 3rd in scoring and we were 11th. But man, am I excited about our top 6 if Kreider continues to play like he did last game. Also pushes down the likes of Dubinsky and Anisimov to the 3rd line giving us a legit 3 lines.

no excuse for the rangers now. think about this. to get to the conference finals we'd have to beat an 8 and a 7 seed, cant get any easier than that, at least on paper. then in the conference finals we'd face no better than a 3 seed, and that 3 seed is probably the weakest team in the playoffs!

Seems like they usually end pretty quickly and only a few go multiple OTs in an entire playoff year. Remember we only saw 1 round so far.

The only problem is when Boyle comes back. Does he overuse him again?

Personally I am fine with Boyle as long as Mitchell sits.

So if we beat Ottawa tomorrow we play the Caps who we don't necessarily matchup well against either.

The seeds are irrelevant. Caps played better than a #7 seed against the Bruins. And Holtby appears to have ice in his veins coming into a situation like this late in the season and doing well.
