Yea, thats what I use.

In the scenario, neither option is plausible.

He has a chance of clearing waivers if sent down out of camp, but would be a question mark later in the season as injuries strike other teams. I would be surprised if a team were to claim him without having sustained injury, but it's always possible.

My facepalm comment was because, between TaLoN and myself (at least I'm fairly certain he's the other one tackling that) we've corrected the 1-way/2-way issue probably about 6 times in the past month alone.
Seems to be, we will have to do so another 6 times in the next month as well.

We do have a FAQ thing stickied. Just put it in there. Then when people ask tell refer them to that thread.

Sounds like more work than it would save. How many pages past 40 is this thread going to make it before a mod shows up? They're probably all tired out from the Lats thread.

Would need a mod to put the waiver rules in the OP of that thread.

It might be more work, but we could put other information in there so everyone has it handy.

Probably not too much further. Its still early. We did get to page 50 of an OT thread once before they noticed

Cullen is a 3rd liner playing on a team with a lack of top 6 forwards so he's forced to play on the 2nd line. Hopefully Granlund can live up to expectations. Cullen is pretty expendable at this point but it wouldn't be right to trade him, not to mention his NTC. Maybe we could trade him to a potential cup contender at the deadline so he could get one last whiff of playoff action but only time will tell.

CAPGEEK.COM TOTALS (follow @capgeek on Twitter)
(these totals are compiled without the bonus cushion)
SALARY CAP: $70,200,000; CAP PAYROLL: $72,868,610; BONUSES: $1,877,500
CAP SPACE (22-man roster):- $791,110
This roster is obviously a fantasy roster, and relies on the bonus cushion (since it wouldn't let me create Schultz with a bonus contract, it shows us as over the cushion cap when we'd really be $2MM under) but it seems at least plausible we could fit both Suter and Parise at contracts larger than I'm comfortable offering them.

As Sunday draws near, I am starting to think we are looking at another long year capped by extending the playoff draught. The URFA list is just not that deep.

What's he going to do for a plan B? Trade prospects? Yeah right? Swap out players ala Havlat for Heater?

All signs point to disappointment. I fully expect a ludicrous offer to Parise and Sutter. So ludicrous in fact that I'd be embarrass to post them. But why not? He's got cheap prospects coming up. Backs coming off the books next year. Why not. But will Parise and Suter bite?
