can i get a translation of the Tjarrnqvist part.

It just says that Linköping would like to sign him for next season, and since he only has played 29 games for Dallas chances could be good.

Hi, may I ask you to translate this two short items, please?

Thanks

Thanks
It's not a "correct" translation, but all the info from the original text is there.

Double loss for Frölunda:
The first game of the finals wasnt a succses for Frölunda, not only did they lose the game, they also lost two players.
Peter Högardh had to step of the ice with a shoulder injury, it's unknown at this time how bad it is.
Tom Koivisto left the ice becasue of a groin pull, he probably could have kept playing but Frölunda's coach didnt want to take any risks.

For Färjestad pests Per Ledin and Emil Kåberg were missing from mondays practise, Kåberg because of general wear and tear. Ledin becasue of what happened after sundays game.
The coaches didnt want to release the lineup for tommorows game but one thing is for sure, defenseman Martin Sevc will play again after his three game suspension.

Kopitar comments

It seems like the Sodertalje coach is saying something about Anze Kopitar in this quote, could you tell me please?

Also, a quick summary of this please...

I see he scored two goals, but it also seems to me like he was Sodertalje's best player by far. Does it look like he's ready to make the jump to the NHL?

Will you play with some juniors tonight or will it be the same lineup from the last game?
- Well, there are a few juniors that are busy playing with the national team so there will only be Tom Wandell who joins the team. He has been practicing with us and is an incredible exciting player with "good hands". He will probably play with Anze (Kopitar) and (Tomas) Kollar, it should be fun to see that formation. Magnus "Linkan" Lindquist will be in net, he doesn´t need any presentation as he is Mr SSK ha ha...

Anze dominated (in this meaningless game) from all reports, and the line with Kopitar, Wandell & Kollar looked really good. However regarding the NHL, I would wait to make any predictions until the World Championships have been played. But Anze will play in the NHL next season, it´s just a matter of how many games.

begino: basicly its about Per Ledin beeing charged with racism. He yelled a racial slur toward the goal-line referee (unsure about the english word for that specific referee) and a private person has filed charges..

Frölunda Indians is after the signature of Luleås defender Johan Fransson, 21 år.
They have been in contact with his agent. Johan Fransson is one of the most talanted defenders in Sweden with a big offensive upside who have stoped somewhat in his development. And he might have to change club to take the next step.
There is more clubs then Frölunda who is after him. His current club would like to resign him along with SEL rivals Djurgården, Timrå and the Swedish champions Färjestad.
Dallas Stars have also shown an interest to sign him.
It is a 80/20 chance that he will stay in Sweden.

Hm that's interesting so he might not be coming over to play for Iowa more then likely next season, though i'm sure he will. Onless he thinks he needs another season in the SEL.

Malmo's New Arena

If posted this in it's own thread but I haven't been very sucesful.

Does anyone know how to find any news articles or information on a new stadium being built for the Redhawks in Malmo?

I've searched but haven't found anything in English.

I don't read Swedish but if you have a link to a good article maybe someone here could translate it.

Anything found in any news papers or well respected websites would be much appreciated.

I'm having trouble because I can't search in Swedish paper only found information on the city website and it is very general.

Thank you all in advance.

It's saying there will be a press conference today where Percy Nilsson and architects Gert Windgårdh and Mats Matsson will reveal the Multi-Arena's final design to the public. They will give out a CD available with pictures of the design. They are also filing the permit application with the Malmö Kommun.

As I read it, they are putting in the application for approval (which I assume they'll get).

I've found an interview

http://www.svt.se/svt/road/Classic/s...51624&a=610228

and an article

http://www.svt.se/svt/road/Classic/s...51624&a=610228

If someone could tell me the idea of the interview especially the part where they mention MSG... what does Madison Square Garden have to do with Malmo?

Absolutely nothing.

The reporter simply asked if Malmö is getting their own Madison Square Garden now. Percy Nilsson answered something like this: Well, you can say that but we hope we will have a better team than they have in Madison Square Garden. Note that he was joking as always.

The arena building will start in September this year and it´s expected to be finished in September 2008.

A little different request here, I would appreciate any help. I am looking into buying a Nicklas Backstrom Brynas jersey, but I don't know Swedish, so I don't know if it is even possible to order one and have it delivered internationally. Here is the website to Brynas' team store (I have that much figured out):

http://www.neh.se/brynas/

I would appreciate if someone could first find out if I can order overseas and second, give me a brief walkthrough/translation of the ordering process. If it's easier, I can PM someone my e-mail address. Again, thanks for any help that you can give.
