I'm still not sold on Coyle. I gave the Wild a homer vote, but genuinely, I see:

Blues
Wild
Sens
In all honesty...as much as I loathe the Wild...I had the misfortune of having to learn about their prospects...and they get my vote in this super limited poll.
(Granlund is half-hype at this point though)

St. Louis has some nice prospects but I assume Schwartz and Tarasenko are coming along a little slower than originally thought. Still, STL has a solid team and they need some offense.

Amazing. Explain why Huberdeau-Bjugstad is better than Tarasenko-Schwartz or Granlund-Coyle.

Easy explanation really. 1 has Panthers in his name, the other has Gudbranson. Case closed.

Pretty easy... Huberdeau is just as good a prospect as Granlund/Tarasenko and Bjugstad is as good a prospect as Coyle/Schwartz.

Whats funny is that you think it's "amazing" for the 2 of them to be put in the same comparison.

Bull. Having watched Bjugstad half a$$ it for the Gophers this year I hope he busts.

What's funny is you both came in and acted like if Huberdeau and Bjugstad were there, this poll wouldn't even be close.

Or, coincidentally, 2 panther fans came in at the exact same time and realized there was a who's got the best 2 prospects poll where, 2 panther fans, thought they had the best 2?

Settle down.

I disagree there. Tarasenko's development has been great. It only seems as though he's "coming on a little slower" because he's not in the NHL yet. Skill-wise, he's coming along excellent. Schwartz is actually ahead of schedule. Many Blues fans thought it was a 50/50 chance that he'd stay in college next year, and he's already playing this year after his college season ended.

Tarasenko and Swartz, but is Tarasenko going to play in the KHL ala Radulov?

It isn't like they were top 5 picks, or they were drafted 3 or 4 years ago!

Couldn't really be happier with the development of either considering that Schwartz just needs to put on some muscle and Tarasenko has just had the best season of any prospect in the world. If, as expected, Tarasenko signs, he will be in the lineup opening night next season. Schwartz might start in Peoria, but we expect he'll be full time by the second half.

NHL Is his ambition, and he's always been clear about that. The CBA might mean that it drags on over whether he will sign or not though.

Minny duo in my eyes. Granlund is going to be elite and Coyle should be a force also. Mind you, I would take any of these duo's on my team.

You can not see will and Schwartz has more will than most. I know Schwartz as I watched him play for 3 years and over those 3 years he constantly done things that impressed me. He has a very high hockey IQ, he also has a knack for scoring big goals.

I would expect that you will see him in this years playoffs if the Blues can continue and go deep into the playoffs.

As a Leaf fan I would take any of the pairs but my vote went with the Blues.

Schwartz is with the Blues now and likely gets into a playoff game this year.

I understand the love for the St Louis combo if Tarasenko does come over. If not then obvi St Louis should not be in this list but I dont understand how Coyle and Granlund are beating the Swedes of the SENS. Two physical dominating SWEDES who are just built to lead and win??

The better question is, why are Silfverberg and Z-bad on the list? They're a tier below the other two groups.

My rankings (including FLA):

Granlund-Coyle
Tarasenko-Schwartz

Huberdeau-Bjugstad

Silfverberg-Zibanejad

I Think Jonas Brodin is one of the most underated. Looking at him in the WJC U-20 he was a monster in the gold medal game. IMO he will be a beast in the NHL.

That's sick... They will add quite good prospect in that bunch because they are drafting at 7.

Center depth:

Granlund
Coyle
Larsson
Phillips
Haula

I would expect Coyle to play wing in the NHL.
