despite Shanahan trying to kill this franchise like he did to my beloved Whalers. It's pitiful the NHL put him into such a position.
He didn't want to play for the franchise and held them hostage and help force them into relocation - let's put him in charge of dishing out unbias punishment . and they call this a major league - pitiful & disgusting

this team is better than what the league is forcing upon them. Each and everyone of them. I'm a Coyote fan and I appreciate all of them. They excel and I, as an individual, feel their passion and want to emulate their drive for success...

I've eaten crow on the Smith signing in about four or five different threads. Happy to eat some more here. I hope to keep eating smith crow for as long as possible.

I was thinking of starting a "crow served here" thread--I could fill an entire page just with all the wrong-ass hare-brained gibberish I've posted about Smith, the regular season, the playoffs, you name it. For instance, I once thought they signed Mike Smith to back up Jason LaBarbera. The first GDT of the season probably has some gems in it, too.

Suggest we re-name the thread to "Smitty's Crow Shack." (Along with the signature dish, for a dollar extra, they'll peel the egg off your face and fix you an omelet. Just the thing to get rid of the lingering aftertaste of foot.)

My wife called it perfect in the first home preseason game "I like him,he is going to be good. He's got a classic traditional name. Mike Smith sounds like someone famous". Man I guess I should listen more often.
