How about we cheer for our guys and ignore theire guys ?
That would be the logical thing to do. It seems everyone wants to waste all their energy on the Senators. Let's use that energy to urge on our team instead.
Let's Go Rangers chants and chanting each player's name (don't the Yankees do something like that?) sounds like the ideal plan to me. Focus on our team and ignore Ottawa. Let our team do the work on the ice.
Also, I think the Messier chant is dumb. It's not 1994 anymore. Let's cheer on our current guys, please.
Anybody still reading this thread? If we're going to organize something, we're kinda running out of time and would have to start soon. Are there any ones good enough yet to put our efforts behind? I say we keep going. I'm more and more liking the idea of going positive where possible, though still lashing neil every time he's on the ice.
I have a few thoughts on some other ones. The one I'm gonna say first is one I'm hoping some of you will see and like, cause I'd LOVE it to be one we were able to get the crowd into tomorrow night. If successful, it could bring the roof down. The chant? Simply:
"We Scream Loud-er!"
Kinda forces the fans to get loud. And we most definitely need to be loud.
I also was trying to think of something that could motivate the players. I want to hear more from you guys as well. We need something good and we need to spread it fast! One of my thoughts was :
"Black and Blue-Shirts"
Force 'em play to their identity.
We also DEFINITELY need something for Boyle. My thoughts? How bout this one!
"Bri-an Boy-le" followed IMMEDIATELY by "Chris Neil Sucks!"and then repeated.
This next one's probably a non-starter because it's both negative AND a mockery of Alfie, but in some ways I think it would actually rattle him a little psychologically (embarrassment is a powerful emotion). Quite simply?
Going back to something a bit more positive for sake of rallying the troops, this next one is something I want BADLY for the Garden Faithful to do, and do friggin LOUDLY. It would bring the damn house down. If any of you agree, then let's spread it! It's simply:
"Thank You Prust!"
If loud enough and repeated enough, I bet the bench would get chills.
So anyone still in this thread? What are your thoughts? We need to organize soon!
