C'mon, MSG sometimes may have an off odor but is it truly that bad?

I really like the cue-ball chant for Anderson .

Everyone should probably agree to some sort of special chant and start to spread it around Twitter and Facebook tonight.

LGR!
I think the atmosphere on my CBC sounds pretty darn good at MSG. I think the crowd has an air of high expectations and they are truly expecting to win. Losing will be a huge disappointment after finishing first, even though I don't think anyone picked them to finish first. Expectations have an effect on the crowd.

Case in point: Game 4 will forever be etched in memeory. I have never heard SBP like that, not even in the Finals in 07. No expectations, down 2-0 might as well holler. Game 6, not even close, the arena was the quietest by far as fans were "expecting" to wrap it up on home ice. They started to watch, dissect and weren't concerned with making noise and pushing the team.

You're grasping at straws.

The Ottawa Senators that you watch and route for have nothing to do with the original Ottawa Senators. They moved and were disbanded.

The current franchise you watch is more the equivalent of the Atlanta Thrashers, Minnesota Wild, Winnipeg Jets, Pittsburgh Penguins, Philadelphia Flyers, St. Louis Blues, and every other city that had, lost, and regained an NHL franchise.

Had the Amerks won a cup, do the Rangers gobble up credit because it was in the same arena? Or the Islanders for being in the same metropolitan area?

Ottawa Senators circa 92-2012 zero Stanley Cups. To claim otherwise is an insult to everyone's intelligence and a ridiculous display of unwarranted arrogance.

Honor the original disbanded franchise. Do not dare claim those 11 cups as your own.

Dodgers and Giants won numerous World Series. You don't see the Mets claiming property of them.

Ottawa Senators. NO Stanley Cups. Not in any era. They didn't exist until 1992. This is NOT a reformed/reinstated Ottawa Senators from the late 1800s-early 1900s. This is a completely independent franchise that happens to have stolen the name. Same with the new Jets. The real Jets reside in Glendale Arizona under the name Coyotes.
The city has celebrated Stanley Cup victories before. I already stated that this franchise has no cups, but Ottawa is on the Cup, many times. I won't insult your inetlligence but you have a problem reading. There are players in the HHOF, there are records held by players on the Ottawa Senators and as part of the NHL they won the Cup 4 times. The city has had Stanley Cup Parades, shall we just ignore that part of our city history?

You can't take away from the people of Brooklyn the championship that they won. I'll just ignore the banners that hang from the rafters. The name of the city on the Cup.

Not going to lie, last year I was at game 4, and the "can you hear us" chant was awesome. Not to mention they even mentioned how great the atmosphere was. When I rewatched the game from home, it really was amazing how loud the garden sounded.

Guys, this is the biggest game at the garden in YEARS! We need to get the Garden rocking! We've waited too long for this! I don't know about you guys, but I'm sure like me, we're not ready to have this season end. Our boys worked too hard all year. Let's get loud and get our boys fired up and take this one home!

If there was any game for the fans to do the Potvin sucks chant, it's this one. He's been in the Garden three times already this series, and I don't hear nearly as many chants in comparison to the regular season.

How about a remix of their alfie chant.
Count down from 11:11 to 11:00 then chant "Mess" instead of "Alfie"?

I just think the Mess chant is weak. What is that supposed to do?

I think most people assume he still works for Florida. People need to know that's no longer true.

Its humorous that it mocks the Sens fans and their chant for Alfie... but that's about where it stops. What that chant DOESNT do is pump up our players, get in their player's heads, build up the intensity of the atmosphere.

It's a bit funny but doesn't really accomplish the goal at hand. I like the suggested chants that pump up our guys or F with the opposing guys. Just think we should focus on that kind of stuff instead...

Agree.

"Tooth-less Wonder"

Every time Neil hits the ice.

Or.

"Is it 12 yet"

Making reference to him being a pumpkin. And the Sens going home,you know like Cinderella.

So I always check vegas spreads for big games.

For game 6 there was heavy public money about 75 percentile on... The Rangers moneyline to win the game straight up at -120, The Rangers spread -1.5 (winning by 2 goals) at +230 and Under 5 goals at -120 (total goals scored in the game)

Result: Rangers win, by 1 goal and game ended with a total of 5 goals. All 3 publicly backed bets made vegas money when it was all said and done. They lost on Rangers just winning the game, but won the spread and pushed on the over/under. Vegas RARELY loses money, also could explain why the NHL allowed that goal which was kicked in by Neil.

Lastly for Game 7, there is currently 75% of public money on the Rangers at -170. That is some HEAVY juice for the books, which kind of scares me. 67% is on the under 4 goals at -130 and the spread bet at -1.5, % bets wont be displayed until tomorrow i think, that sits at -190.

Just something to think about. Which is what I always do for big games, u'd be surprised how often this crap happens.

Yes sir!

Some of the best anti-Neil ones I've seen:
* "Tooth-less Wonder"
* "Jack O Lantern"
* "Get some dentures"

Or nice and simple... "Chris Neil Sucks!"

Someone had suggested chanting: "Brian Boy-le, Brian Boy-le" with "Chris Neil sucks" snuck in between... "Brian Boy-le.. Chris Neil Sucks!.. Brian Boy-le" Like that its pro us and anti them at the same time

Oh and I also like the idea of doing the goalie chant but saying "Kriiiiiissy.. Kriiiisy" for Krissy Neil

Is anyone bringing a large American flag to the game for the National anthem?
