We deserve to lose on pure roster stupidity.

There's a lot of dumb in our lineup, but to be fair, our core players have shown more heart and desire in this series than I ever thought they would.

While I give Dale a lot of credit for that, his roster management is atrocious. Since they do seem to actually care, I will hate it especially much if Ovie, Semin, Backstrom, Green, etc. lose tomorrow because of his idiotic decision making.

Just saw a thread at the Bruins board where they list 2/3 of the Caps goals the last 3 games and how they all came off bad reffing calls. **** them. The Caps are gonna win so we can all go see the *****ing that will surely occur when they lose. Lets ****ing go Caps! Caps in 7!

And for most of you guys, you never thought the Caps could even get to a game 7 with the Bruins. There were a few, including myself, that had confidence and believed the Caps could win. So believe what you want about the game going into it, but don't be surprised when the Caps win. The Caps have lost 2 straight game 7's, while the Bruins have won 3 straight series in game 7. 3rd times a charm and the Caps are gonna win. They're due, while the Bruins are playing with fire. Tomorrow is when their streak, season, and quest to defend the Cup ends. The Caps will come out much better than previous game 7's and win. Their style this year is better suited on the road as is being shown.

Lets ****ing go Caps! Caps in 7!

I see a Caps win in Triple OT.

Alzner skims it off Chara's skate and it rolls up TT pads, over his mask, and down his back and just barely crosses the line.

20 minute review in Toronto.

Goal stands.

So if that didn't happen you didn't see any way the Caps don't win that game...?

the bruins were supposed to dispatch the capitals. instead the caps have to a great extent beaten them at their own game. mocked and laughed at the big bad bruins rep and said bring it on. holtby has out goalied thomas in three games out of six.

i think there is significant pressure on the capitals here, but the bruins have their own demons.

i kind of expect this game to come down to a good/bad bounce.

3 games in Chicago too.

Doesn't matter. It's one ****ing game. The only game. Momentum means absolutely nothing in this particular case.

Oh good, those tend to work out well for the Caps.

I generally expect failure, and still do now, but I feel like it won't be a total stinker either way.

while it is a tall order to win 3 games in Boston going into a 7 game stretch. Once you've already won 2, it's as easy as winning 1. Don't fall for the Gambler's Fallacy. I just get the feeling the Caps will win easily. Ovechkin nets 2. 5-1 Thomas is pulled after falling behind 4-0.

Doesnt matter. Stupidity tilted those odds from 50-50 to a lot lower on the decision to make that pass... Making life easier on an opponent isn't how you move forward in the playoffs.

and so...you are saying the caps will lose because they coughed up a turnover and lost a game? maybe i wrong but havent boston already choked away two home games out of three in this series? that has no effect on the b's but the caps are toast because they lost one?

if it makes you feel any better, a win tomorrow gives the caps another chance at getting swept in four straight in the next round.

Each trigger you pull has no affect from the previous one... And the odds are always the same. But I'd rather only pull it twice in hopes thers's no bullet in the chamber.

Exactly. I feel like it will be the game @Detroit or @NYR where the Caps score 3 in the 1st (while getting one the first 5mins). And then I see them adding 1 or 2 later in the game to win 4-1 or 5-1 like @NYR.

The Caps are going to get over the hump some day. I believe in them.

Why not Now?

Leave your nerves at the door boys and leave the worrying to us.

You can ****ing do this!

Go Caps!

If there's any team that could fail to get over the hump for all eternity, it's the Caps.

I believe.

( I'm really not this much of a pessimist, but it's irresistible right now)

Better to have the team fold then a bs non-call for incidental contact... Or goalie interference.

At least we can b itch about our own players instead of feeling sorry for ourselves.

Edit: I didn't mean your prediction. More like close game and a bounce.... The whole series has been that.
