If Kesler couldn't deal with Richards, do you think Hodgson would have?

I'd take a healthy Hodgson over a gimpy Kesler. It's not like Richards was anything special against us.

Apparently you did read the playoff threads on the main board because he was:

Richards BEASTMODE!! Richards PLAYOFF BEAST!!1

Richards SWAG!!!! SWAG BEAST RICHARDS!

No joke, that garbage was written during Round 1

I'm not sold on this Hidgson guy. He played top 6 minutes and top PP mins and produced 8 pts in 20 game. While have 2 multi point games.

Thank god our fanbase isnt foolish enough to be suicidal over a guy who could become our 3rd line C

Meh, never a huge Kes fan. Might be refreshing seeing him out of the line-up for a while. He really poisoned his line offensively this year, I think if Raymond and Booth are still here they will do better with someone else at centre.

Well, he was playing 25 minutes a night during the stretch run while he was hurt...he should have been sitting him out to try and help him recover for the playoffs. Cleared to play or not.

You know what I hate about injuries? You just never know when they're going to happen. Kesler could once again injure himself right before the playoffs, play through it, and look like he did against the Kings. One of the Sedins could be playing hurt as well, or even worse...not be playing like Daniel for 3 games to start the playoffs.

As a fan, you get all pumped up for the playoffs, but then **** happens. It's depressing to think about.

Is there a good guesstimation to when or how he got injured? That sounds really terrible because of the recovery time. I'm just wondering if you guys recall any big hit on him.

I'll never get behind that kind of behaviour. It's embarrassing and child-like and have never understood how it helps anything at all except the fan's massive egos, I'll never see how a fan putting themselves ahead of their team brings them joy when the team does succeed. Maybe I take it too seriously, I don't believe in organized religion but the Canucks are the next closest thing for me.

Jordan Schroeder, it's your turn to shine kid, better get a hat trick on the first game or the fans will run you out of town.

I'm sure we could get more for Schroeder than Matt Kassian.

Good size though. 6'5" and 255. Still just 25. He's property of the Minnesota Wild.

Hey, isn't that where Schroeder is from? Maybe you're on to something there Ted.

He can start working on a bike after a week. Can start even earlier but it's no recommended.. can't go to shower in the first few days and the drugs hinder training effect anyway.

Can start skating in probably around 4-6 weeks.. 8 at tops. But you can't fall..

Depending how bad it teared but even at worst case, the arm and muscles around are at full strength around 4 months. But no explosive, large range-of-motion movements until about 5-6 month mark. So shooting is pretty much out.

The good thing is that if the surgery goes well (good doctor and I assume it is) and he takes the rehab seriously and patiently the shoulder will be better than the other one.

Kesler is going to go insane not being able to shoot for 6 months.

Maybe it'll be like Rookie of the Year, and his shoulder will be so torqued that his shot will suddenly be insanely unbeatable?

Just give it to me straight, Doc.

Is he ever going to be able to pass the puck again?
