I'm not at all a Jeff Schultz fan, but this is literally a delusion. This is cause for doctors to determine what particular neurological disorder is creating such a vast chasm between your mind and reality. Jeff Schultz and Semin are the two most maligned players not named Tyler Sloan in the last five years of Capitals hockey, and Schultz beats out Semin without question.
i agree....you should see a doctor
and......just to help you understand what im saying....I never said he was loved by all. The point is there were several defenders of this player....not just 1 or 2 nubs that just started posting, it was Mods and other established posters......there were a handful of us that have been saying he isnt very good since before +50
so not sure what your problem is but it sounds like you know you have one and will be seeking help. Good luck

I'm not recalling more than a few Schultz defenders on here. Do you have a link to the thread you mentioned?
On local radio 106.7 reporter @SkyKerstein talking tough. He quoted all the horrid Wideman and Sarge stats. It appears he has access to George. Adding him to the twitter.

Obviously this exchange is a mismatch in more ways than one, so I'm just going to leave it here.
Posted this on the main board thread (didn't know where I was), but wanted to share here:
30 years ago today, Dale Hunter's Quebec Nordiques (after losing game 6 at home in overtime) go into Boston Garden and beat the Bruins 2-1 in Game 7 to advance to the conference finals against the Islanders. The end of the game is notorious, because Terry O'Reilly (apparently incensed over something Dale did) ends up trying to punch referee Andy Van Hellemond. The last moments of the game - when O'Reilly took a swing at Van Hellemond are shown below.
So bring it on -- April 25 is clearly cursed for the Bruins and blessed for Dale and his boys.
I will admit I was one of the few to talk up the progress of Sarge after he got back from his 1 month of scratches. Hitting, skating, assertive... I was stunned.
Not surprisingly I suppose, he went back to his old ways of playing passive. Really, what 6'6" DD man has made it through a playoff series without a hit. I now think he was hitting on accident. Forced to skate in our new man scheme, its was inevitable he had collisions.
JJ got much of the credit but we may need to rethink that.

Hmm...to me....55 has always had VERY few defenders around here. That's not to say from time to time he's played well and people have commented positively, but he's gets as bashed as anyone on the Caps roster around here. I would say there are less that 5 regular defenders of 55.

George McPhee....The Teflon GM. 15 years of failure and counting....
6 - Number of playoff series the Capitals have won since George McPhee took over as General Manager in 1997 (which makes him the third-longest-tenured GM in the League), three of which came in McPhee's first season on the job.
Seems like Bruins fans think it's a good thing...so i'm not sure if we should be worried or not.
Walkom is ****. Remember all those games where the Caps get really really weak hooking calls, and the other guys are crosschecking, hooking tripping and no calls?
