So, things went off without a hitch tonight. She said yes, and after almost a decade, we're finally engaged!

I'm just overjoyed that I can stop stressing myself out, this was seriously causing some craziness.

Ha. I was watching Storage Wars for hours.. then the next time I look up, 16 minutes into that show. Have to say, not a fan. Too much hillbilly. Can't relate too much.

Sounds like someone's getting a little Rusty Venture tonight if you know what I mean.

Well, I am obliged to have a Karkat avatar for some time, so I decided I might as well have some fun with it.

Flipped, negative colors and red eyes did the trick.

Yesterday was a beautiful day for golfing. The great weather failed to improve my game, though.

Thanks for all the well wishes, folks.

Lots of birthdays and such going on around now as well, apparently it's a busy time of year around these parts.

So has anyone ever gotten so anxious or nervous that their deodorant just decided to stop working? Haven't had B.O. in years, then I'm in the middle of a presentation and BOOM. Onion soup. My body went into emergency shutdown mode or something...

So my work switched from semi-monthly to bi-weekly payroll and now my personal budget is completely screwed up. I have no idea what's going on after this month.

That takes a while to get used to...

I switched from a once a month (beginning) to an every other week about two years ago...

It evens out, but it takes adjusting. Essentially, we only budget for getting two checks a month and then the months where an "extra" rolls in, we just use that to pad the account.

The kicker for me is that in some months there will be an extra week of groceries/gas but I can't figure out when to apply them. And then all my monthly payments get screwed up with the timing. Like next month there's paychecks on 5/11 and 5/25 and I get paid tomorrow. So it's like the month now starts tomorrow and ends on 5/24. And then June starts 5/25 and ends 6/21. And it gets worse from there.
