Dougie Hamilton or Griffin Reinhart maybe? Well anyways, thanks for the info.

Nope. I think it was Adam Pelech.

Hamilton didn't play tonight.

Hopefully Dumba won't be the healthy scratch for next game.

If the "worst" defenseman ends up being the scratch, Ceci doesn't have a prayer.

He already was scratched in the second game.

If I had to rank the play from defensemen from tonight's game, I'd say Murphy > Rielly > Murray > Dumba > Pelech > Ceci, but I might be a bit biased.

Very hypothetical but say San Jose picks Emerson Etem or Brock Nelson with their 28th overall pick in 2010 instead of Charlie Coyle. Then of course we still make the trade and we swap out Coyle with one of those two.

Who would you rather have? Coyle, Etem or Nelson

Personally I see high end grinder in Coyles game to maybe max out as a 2nd line power forward. I am super high on Etem and Nelson. I would probably go with Etem as every time I see him he looks plain dominant, maybe not always on that stat sheet but you can just see how much potential he has.

Here is a list of 2010 draft for reference:

I don't think Etem is a very good player at all. Would not want a guy like that in my prospect pool over Coyle. Nelson on the other hand... Though, I may be biased there.

Etem is Setoguchi 2.0. Rather have Coyle.

Etem is one of those prospects I just get "that vibe" from. There's no reason for me to not like him or think that he'll fail, but I just don't think he'll translate. There's absolutely no reason for me to feel that way, but I just do.

Now more interesting to me is "what if San Jose had picked Justin Faulk?" He only went 9 spots later.

I was a big fan of Etem and hoped he fell to us in the 2nd, but we'll see how that goes.

I was going to mention Faulk as an option in my hypothetical situation but didn't. I really wanted him to fall to us for our second round pick but at the time that was mostly because we are friends. I always had confidence in him and his ability but didn't think he would be playing big NHL minutes so fast. Pretty crazy

Yesterday was the deadline (August 15th) for NHL teams to sign their NCAA graduates. The Wild lose their 2006 7th round draft pick Chris Hickey who now is a free agent. Please try to get over this without to much ******** lol.
